Newbie needs help with a trans disappearing?

Hi everyone new to the forum and crypto. Here is my issue. Tried to move some ethereum from my trust wallet to my meta mask wallet. But it didn't go through. It says it was sent but not received. Not sure why it didn't go. I sent Binance-peg Ethereum to my Ethereum in my meta mask. I used my address for ethereum. I couldn't find the binance ethereum on meta mask. Are they different? Any advise? Is it gone forever or will it not go through and just comeback? Thanks for any help!!

Do you mean you send BEP20 ETH to your metamask wallet right? Just add ETH BSC token to you metamask wallet.

Token name: ETH
Contract Address: 0x2170ed0880ac9a755fd29b2688956bd959f933f8
Decimal: 18

I think you haven't configured your metamask to use Binance Smartchain Network yet. Open the account where you sent the ETH and then configure the network setting using the following details - https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/connecting-metamask-to-binance-smart-chain


Make sure you use the mainnet details
