Mixing differnt L3 hash boards?

I have two L3+ that came with dead boards. They are both the flat capacitor type and not the silver can type. The cooling fins are different, not in height but in shape up top. One machine has the v1.4.1 board with the straight fins and the other is v1.2 with the flat section in the middle top of the fins. Since its a pain in the ass to find the exact board version, am I able to run other flat capacitor boards or different versions in the same machine?  Basically need one v1.4.1 board that has the straight fins and two v1.2 boards that have the "T" shape on the fins. Any help or experience would be greatly appreciated.

As to your question there are

 l3  real short gear runs at 250 hash

 l3+ longer gear runs at 500 hash


 l3++ same gear as l3+ but sightly different hardware.

So if you have l3+ and can get them to fit in the case they will interchange and should work

See if they slide into the case and fire it up it should work.
