I'm getting 35MH on my gtx1660 super today after changing the old powersupply to a new platinum rated power supply, I don't know if this is what actually brings the increase in hashrate because I was getting 32mh before, does any of these makes any sense?

That looks like some overclocking to me, changing power supply won't add more hashrate when mining, I've never heard of this before unless the powersupply is low for the mining rig e.g using 450 watts powerpack for 4 gpus which can lower performance

If your old power supply unit had an underestimated voltage of 12 volts, then a decrease in the hash rate is possible.
35 megahash is an outrageous result for these video cards.
I see 4 shares in the photo. This is a very short time interval for analyzing the results. Wait 24 hours and see the average hash rate on the pool

I have not seen 450 watt power supplies with the ability to connect 4 video cards Smiley

I think is only possible if your old PSU had some issues, or lower wattage than your cards need.

But aside from that, can you post pictures of your overclock in both cards, and pics of your miner with more hours running?

With only 2 shares, it's impossible to measure the hashrate, and you will probably have a lot of reject shares, OR you have the best 1660s I've already seen

It's fake reading mate, I've experienced such before, here is what I dare you to do, reboot your PC and try mining again and let's see what hashrate your miner is showing, I bet it will be back to normal again, those hashrate are impossible for a gtx1660 super

I dare you and your RIG  Wink

Well if you have the right memory make on the 1660S those numbers are possible.  See a lot doing 34mhs with -1000 memory on that card.  The higher memory speeds are too loose and by decreasing its quite impressive.  So before you all go jumping on the guy realize MMPOS has quite a bit of these in benchmarks and bragging sections.  Of course silicon lottery helps.  But 35-36 is possible.

Miner29 can you pls share the type of memory your gtx1660 super is using? I have hynix memory 1660super and now even get closer to 32mh, getting 35mh per 1660super will be a real game changer, meaning with 3 pieces of gtx1660 super you are already at 100MH+

I have seen many miners who use such video cards, but they have a hash rate of 31 megahash from each video card.
You can get a higher hashrate for a short time by increasing the memory frequency, but the farm will not be able to work in this mode.
I would not use the maximum overclocking, because this will lead to overheating of the video card memory.

After restarting my PC the hashrate went down to 31.7MH, I guess you are right but I still can't find out what brings me that higher hashrate before and I even try remembering everything other things I touched when I got that 35+mh per gpu now I wish I never switched the rig off, 😅😅

Probably a driver error or the overclocking software OC'd the gpu without you knowing? If rebooting the PC can return it back to it's previous state then it's driver conflict, either gpu driver or even the mining software

Your video cards caught shares in the first seconds of mining, so the current hash rate was overstated. It won't make you more profit.
The statistics should be watched at least after a few hours, or better after 24. When I launch the phoenix, the miner also shows an overestimated hash rate for the first few minutes, then the indicators decrease.

1660S with Samsung memory: P0 -200/1080/2000/70W and getting 32.93MH at 65W reported. Highest result with lowest consumption.
Obviously increasing power usage will add a few hash.

1660S with Hynix  -150 core, -1002 mem

Best to lock Pstate to 0 for these cards.

That hashes from 33-35 are all dependent on the silicon lottery but over all the 1660Supers are great little cards for eth.

How are you getting -1002 mem with hynix 1660 super? What software are you using because using msi afterburner you can only see -502 as the minimum, I don't know how you get that -1002, on hynix memory you get -502 Core and -502 memory

Linux...mmpos specifically...but ethos will do it too...i expect most linux will.
