Hello everyone,

I'm a senior web developer with a lot of experience with solidity and smart contracts in general. I have some money to invest in some crypto-based project and I'm thinking about making a new gambling website.

I know there are tons and tons of gambling websites... I'm reading this forum every day for years. A new website appears almost every week but many of the sites are the same...

A lot of bustabit clones (same script), a lot of CryptoDice sites, a lot of SoftSwiss websites, and a lot more examples...
A lot of websites claim they are provably fair but in fact, they are not provably or not fair. I also was thinking about making a thread with an analysis of provably fair algorithms of all sites here.
A lot of vulnerable websites because it's made by developers which have no experience in provably fair, crypto, smart contracts, etc...
A lot of non-innovative websites (simple dice and that's all)...

So, I'm here to hear ideas from you guys! What crypto gambling site will attract you? Which kind of games? Which cryptocurrencies? Decentralized or not? Fully on smart contracts or not? PvP sites or against a house?

Here is an example of websites that get my attention:
https://wink.org/
https://moolah.bet/
https://rocketgame.io/

I really like that concept of dividends. By betting TRX you mine the site's token which you later freeze and get dividends from the house's profit. Great idea! What do you think about making this kind of website? Some of the above sites have really big attention and a lot of users but in fact, they are not 100% provably fair and I don't understand how such websites can have tons of users with that issue.

Let's create together a new gambling website!

Please mate, it will be interesting.

I would like to see a specific site tailored for the slots player (only), just like (only) dice sites.
- Complete collection of slots games
- Accept multiple cryptocurrencies
- No KYC
- A profit-sharing token, like earnbet.io, chips.gg, etc.

Yeah, probably I'll make it soon, I just need to make a few reports for the start so I can start a thread for it.

- No KYC for sure!
- I'm also thinking that a profit-sharing token is a must!

You might want to get in the fantasy sports section as there aren't a lot of people that are doing it yet and maybe some sort of virtual horse race might be able to do the work for me. I like the idea of analysis of provably fair algorithms of other sites but is that allowed? Because I find those algorithms a confidential asset of the gambling sites.

There are indeed so many copy websites in the market. But most of them fails or receive bad reputation because of bad management. Also it is not ideal to throw a new business into such super high competition.

Think about making some skill based games. If you are following this forum from some time, I am sure you probably have seen such discussions. There is no skill based gambling platform available in the market.

It's like playing games similar to battle royale or any other pvp games where the casino house will not decide the outcome of the game. The casino will make money out of house edge.

Think something in that line! That will be very unique!

Some people wants to play dice game, slot games and card games. What I mostly notice of gamblers in which games they play and what I observed is dice, slots and poker which is what I mentioned first. No KYC would be good too because having KYC defeats the purpose of the cryptocurrency that is anonymity. Accepting different crypto as payment.

When we do talk about decentralized then this do usually mean about those blockchain type of games where honestly they dont really get much attention into this market or simply those smart contracts.

PvP system is also less attractive into this market and even you do see that most of them are still on the same concept or type ex. Dice, crash and slots but there are still people
whom do play with those games.Turns out to be boring on your part but they are indeed getting some users.

Seen up those kind of Dividends on TRX and EOS as far as i remember on some gambling sites that i had checked out but they arent really getting that much user
compared to those top tier sites at the moment but it isnt really a bad idea after all.

About provably fair, can you give out some names which are on the top ranks who doesnt have this fair system?Im bit curious since you did mention this
stuff all over again.

I don't think there are any provably fair fantasy sports and I really want to make a real provably fair website. But yeah, nice idea, I'll investigate is it possible to make fantasy sports provably fair, a great concept! And also, if I would use non-provably fair sports, for example - virtual horse racing (for example Betradar’s Virtual Horse Racing) I need to pay a license for using it and it's not provably fair so I don't like that idea, and I really don't have money for using third-party services like Betradar’s Virtual Horse Racing (same response above for slots).
No, provably fair algorithm isn't secret because user needs to know how the result is generated and by that he can verify casino's outcome.

There are indeed so many copy websites in the market. But most of them fails or receive bad reputation because of bad management. Also it is not ideal to throw a new business into such super high competition.

Think something in that line! That will be very unique!
Can you give me an example of skill-based games and PvP games you are thinking about? Here are some examples of such websites:
https://bitdouble.io/ (coin flip PvP)
https://duelbits.com/ (dice PvP)
https://www.playbitcoingames.com/ (skill-based games like Mahjong and Minesweeper)

I didn't see that any of these websites have a massive amount of players. I mean, on bitdouble and duelbits you'll make a room and wait a lot until someone joins. On playbitcoingames you will play skill-based game and wait until the end of the day or week or month to get a payout based on the rank. I think for the crypto-gambling sites THE MUST is speed game (no waiting for other players) and speed (instant) payout.
So, maybe it's good to add PvP to the site but once you have tons of users, but I think it's not a good option for start. Here to hear your thoughts Smiley

Also, I need to comment this "games where the casino house will not decide the outcome of the game" - if the site is provably fair, both parties (house and player) defines the outcome - just like in PvP games.

I have some pretty unique ideas and I can design them, I also owned multiple csgo casinos which were pretty successfull.

Are you interested to work together?
Of course, let's talk about it in more detail Smiley

Some people wants to play dice game, slot games and card games. What I mostly notice of gamblers in which games they play and what I observed is dice, slots and poker which is what I mentioned first. No KYC would be good too because having KYC defeats the purpose of the cryptocurrency that is anonymity. Accepting different crypto as payment.
Yeah, dice is the top one! But there are so many dice sites here and I don't know how hard it will be to start because of competitors... I'm also thinking about dice, but with something different or new, like a profit-sharing token or something else. And yes, No KYC is mandatory for crypto!

I didn't 100% sure what you wanted to say for smart contracts / decentralized games? It's like primedice and stake but you don't deposit money to the site and roll using the website's backend but instead, you directly deposit money to smart contract during betting and all rolling stuff occurs on blockchain and smart contract and you get immediate money if you win. After that, you can verify all the code behind rolling and randomization because it's open-sourced smart contract.
Yes, PvP is less attractive because of long waiting times. I think maybe it's a good idea to add PvP games additionally on the website once you have a lot of users.

Seen up those kind of Dividends on TRX and EOS as far as i remember on some gambling sites that i had checked out but they arent really getting that much user
compared to those top tier sites at the moment but it isnt really a bad idea after all.

Hm, are you sure? wink's telegram has 21k users, that's a lot!

I don't want to say some site names without any proof, I'll make a thread probably in the next couple of days.

$$$
Anyone is free to invest in any gambling site that they believe is fair, according to him, as well as you, in determining it.

However, if you are interested in a particular site in investing and developing according to your beliefs, go on, the bottom line: Don't compare other sites or say what's bad about them is fair or not, because it's gambling, you know what I mean.
Accusation / evidence.

OP, I saw the site you mentioned above, however, it doesn't seem that much different from other gambling sites, yes, lately I am very lazy to play casino slot games, a little bored, I prefer rockets, make me a little fresher.

For that of the many dice games, I find the game (Rocketdice) quite interesting for me, maybe, I will try another time, when I have a good chance.

For that, my advice: do what you can do, in your opinion it is good for addicts, of course, today is fair and so on, don't get into the well in the middle of the game.

Did you think about to create a new alternative to poker? Poker is a game where the bad player will play against the better player because luck is involved. The problem with poker is that it is allmost completely solved. If you can create a completely new game which involves a certain degree of luck with a low rake strukture and maybe some profit-sharing-algorithms it could be big.

I don't prefer those decentralized or in smart contracts honestly. And with those that you've mentioned, I'm only familiar with wink, I can say that they're successful in terms of their tokenization.
I really like that concept of dividends. By betting TRX you mine the site's token which you later freeze and get dividends from the house's profit. Great idea! Let's create together a new gambling website!
It's a good incentive and very attractive not only to the gamblers but also to those who are looking to earn more with dividends.

- Hm, I'm afraid that I will not go with slots because personally I don't like slots but also the main reason is - it's expensive... It's too expensive to integrate all game providers and right now I'm not ready to put that much money into this project. I'm almost 100% sure it will be custom-made games (like Dice, Mines, Plinko, Blackjack, Roulette, etc).
The problem is you want your site to be unique, and those kinds of sites that you mention already exist. Look at Wolfbet, Jacksclub, Earnbet, Bitsler, etc. But special slots sites with a wide variety of provably fair games aren't exist yet. I'm not talking about 3rd party providers, but in-house slots. The best we have is two on Stake and Bitsler (AFAIK). You can add the rest after your site is growing.

- If I make it decentralized, then it will be able to only accept the main currency for that blockchain (for example only ETH, or only TRX, or only BNB, etc) and maybe some tokens from that blockchain. But if the site isn't decentralized, I will for sure make it accept many cryptocurrencies.
Not really, you can use token functionality to back non-native token, let's say create TRC-20 for BTC, ETH, etc. So you can use it in your environment. I'm not sure how complex it will be since I only know some dApps on EOS used it.

Unless you and the OP had agreed to work and discuss these matters with each other. For the mean time, I advise you, if you want to say something, say it here.

Goodluck op, from those suggestions above, I think profit sharing is one of the features you should consider.

Yes, thats what i mean on where you do make out bets and results would really be rolled based up on blockchain or smart contract thingy. If you do look around there are some lottery
based type of gambling sites who had been using this set-up.Yes, its fully transparent and decentralized but to be honest, not all people would really be that
patient enough to wait for some time before they could able to see the results. Most gamblers are too impatient. Grin

Hm, are you sure? wink's telegram has 21k users, that's a lot!

I don't want to say some site names without any proof, I'll make a thread probably in the next couple of days.
I'd be expecting that because telling those top sites arent fair is something a serious accusation.

I'm going to suggest you will do very well if you can combine tradable items from other games such as CS or any online game with sellable items and also crypto.    If you can accept deposits then allow bets on esports for those in game items its usually going to prove popular, problem is you would likely have to separate the two out to avoid the gambling being associated with the game in an exact way.

Or you could take a game theme indirectly from various games in a more generic way, themed but not directly set just look at the largest most popular online games for an idea.

A lot of websites claim they are provably fair but in fact, they are not provably or not fair. I also was thinking about making a thread with an analysis of provably fair algorithms of all sites here.
Please Do! Your analysis will be a game-changer if you can prove one of the top sites out there are not provably fair. Someone being a developer and into Crypto-Gambling, I can tell you lots of those big sites are provable fair.

A lot of vulnerable websites because it's made by developers which have no experience in provably fair, crypto, smart contracts, etc...
A lot of non-innovative websites (simple dice and that's all)...
Where are smart contracts coming from? Most of the famous gambling sites aren't using any smart contracts. Again, instead of telling us what's wrong, prove it. You seem to have a birds-eye view of the crypto-gambling scene. There are a lot of good sites with very good developers maybe you've only come across those with open-source scripts.

Maybe do a horse race or some kind of race in your website because there isn't a lot of website that offers a horse race game and the last one that I have seen is a scam website so I wouldn't risk playing there. Or maybe you can do some PVP gambling platform, that one is a rare one too and you don't have to worry about provably fair because it is up to the skill of the user.

Can you really get around KYC if you run a centralized betting service? Even if it's decentralized, a good number of developers recently attracted attention from regulatory bodies.
