One of the doorman witnessed the entire attack and did nothing.  As the Asian woman struggled to maintain consciousness, she sees the doors closing on her.

Imagine the despair Tom felt as the security guard turned his back on him.  This is no different.  The only things the guards could have done worse was to step outside, pretend to call the ambulance, and prevent people from helping until she died.

They've been fired, and they have filed a grievance with the union.  WTF??  If that Asian woman was staying in that building and had tipped those doorman, they probably would have done what any citizen should have done.  I don't really care what happens to these assholes as long as they are never put in a position of trust again.   But I do hope each of those doorman experience the fear and abandonment this woman felt.

I can somewhat understand if they were afraid while the attack is happening that's why they decided to keep their distance but the fact that they closed the doors instead of helping the woman after the attack was over extremely appalling and disgusting.

That's why there are three of them, plus any vehicles that would stop.  First guy charges, tackles and takes any punch that comes in until his backup restrains him.    They could have been heroes but they decided to be cowards.

I agree but what I don't know is why you put the focus on the doormen and not on the giant black man who attacks the old woman without her having done anything to him.

I was not aware of what is going on with the asian hate, and I see that in many cases they are young and strong people who attack old people, to top it off many times from behind which makes them cowards.

The doormen are as guilty of the discrimination and abuse as the black man involved.  I wonder if they would have reacted differently if the case was a case of a black man attacking a white lady. Whatever this thing is with color and race discrimination, it all must stop. No they weren't but they were a scum. Racism isn't actually I think the issue why they don't helped, but they're afraid. They are the kind of person who can turn a blind eye on any crime as long as they aren't affected by it. The single idea that there is a supreme race is what results in all this hates. I don't like the fact that, a human would fail to see the other human as a fellow home sapien. What is it with all the categorization as to which rece is supreme or belongs to a particular geographical location. I don't like it that a person be condemned because of the colour of there skin and worst still, should the person react to these look down on there person. It suddenly makes it look true, exposes how you think for the lowlife which you are.

I watch this video and I hear the comment from an African American telling an Asian American, "You don't belong here"! What the fvck! Which of them really belongs there should this be an issue of a pure race. To be fair, non of them so, why the hate between them.

Its really sad that the physically unable would have to go through such and worst still that the so called security could not even interfere or restrain the man in anyway. Not that he was carrying a weapon or what ever. I feel really sad with this sort of behaviour.

The problem with our current justice system is that it favors criminals because they are sent to prison where they only get worse, if a lot of people don't like the idea of rehabilitation of prisoners to integrate back into society like what Norway's Halden Prison, then we should probably torment the people that committed heinous crimes that we see equal to their deeds, this scares people into doing crimes because of the torment and at the same time breaks the scum of society.

I'm surprised this video has made it to the media at all. The security camera is obviously in the same building as the witnesses to this heinous crime, so I wouldn't be surprised if the video was magically lost or otherwise inaccessible.

Every day, we see more and more hate crimes, and the only way to stop them is for all of us to work together. It is not enough to rely solely on law enforcement because, in most cases, their response is too late. I understand that someone may not want to put themselves in danger because they are afraid, but the very least he could do was assist the victim after the assault. Furthermore, he could take a smartphone and photograph the attacker, which would aid police in identifying him.

There is only one major religion that I know of to which this ethnic supremacist philosophy is central.  It's 'Judeo-Christian' without the Christian part.  Christians are happy to 'save' anyone and race doesn't matter...though they are happy to try to make dime off of it.  The 'Judeo' ones are highly exclusive.  You can convert (sort of) if you are as rich, but it's pretty selective on 'chosen' bloodlines.
