When is the end of the bull run?

Ok, I keep hearing a phrase used a lot when watching news videos about crypto currency as in:

"This is gonna happen by the end of the bull run"

"value of x currency is predicted to rise/fall to x value by the end of this bull run"

"things look very bullish"


As a beginner I've managed to figure out what the term bullish means, and it seems to apply to same term "bullish" when dealing with stock market trade. And through that I can deduce what "bull run" means.

But if I watch a youtube video that is released TODAY, and the narrator says "x currency is going to rise/fall to x value by the end of this bull run", what is the time frame he is talking about? When is this bull run(whatever that is) supposed to end?

When I tried to google this, I only find information about a historic event that has nothing to do with cryptocurrency.

You could start by reading something like "An Overview of Bull and Bear Markets" to get some understanding of what bull run / bull market and the opposite (bearish) means.

And as an answer for you: it's hard/next to impossible to predict clearly when will it end. Right now the price is on up trend. Corrections happen now and then. At some point the down trend will be bigger and longer than a correction and we will actually leave the bull run and go into bearish market.

Take a look to a bitcoin chart (set it for 3 days, top-left) and look on what has happened in 2017 (bull run) and 2018 (bearish).

The point is nobody knows for sure, and each one might refer to a different time frame. What we talk about here might not what YouTubers assume, and vice versa. Even we can't arrive at the same conclusion as to when the bull run starts, or whether we're already in the bull run or not.

We could only be sure when the time pass, just like how the last cycle was. It's not gonna change anytime soon, so who knows.

The answer is Unknown, my advice is if you've invested in any coins or tokens keep watching them constantly, once they bring you good gains make sure you secure your invested fund first and leave the rest so whatever may happen after will not affect you much

Because bull and bear runs aren't exclusively for bitcoin or the cryptocurrency industry as a whole. It pretty much applies to markets in general, especially the likes of the stock markets.

Now, just to answer your question, no one knows when a bull or bear market starts/ends. Just the same reason why no one can accurately predict short-mid term price movements.

be careful because in this cryptocurrency market there are many people who use that word "bull run" only as a force of expression or a force to be optimistic and not in a really technical way as it should be. the conclusion you had is right, so just focus on having more knowledge about the market and technical and fundamental analysis. in the past there were even analysts who differed between them if the market was in the bull run or not.

you will not be able to see it on google, but you can see it on the charts, for example if the price breaks the support that is at $29000 and falls below $28000 we would sell panic and the bull run would become a nightmare, this is a way to get to see, also if the price starts to fall steadily from $57000 easily you can see that it is reversing from high to low, imagine for example that this week the price would drop to  $47000, next week it would drop to $39000, and then the next week it would drop below $29000, then we would probably be in the trend change

You cannot find an accurate information pertains to when this bull run will end. Those YTers are hyping each of their contents so that you'll get to watch their next videos. They're content creators and they'll always catch you with their good words about the market. But if you're going to analyze them, they're all into guessing games and no one will actually going to tell you what exactly will happen to the market. All they say are those thoughts that they've in their minds.

So now we only know what terms are bullish and bearish like what you see on the YouTube channel, so we need to understand a little what we understand, don't follow their path, of course, this will be very different in principle and nature of this word can be used in trading others that we must be aware of and full of meaning what we need to learn in this forum.

I think what YOSHIE has shared about several topics is correct, you just have to find out how to find the right words when used in cryptocurrency, I think here that has been mentioned a lot in price predictions and other speculations.

As bull run continue to rise and shine I don't think it will stop or go back to bearish this year. The demand on different high caliber blockchain project is immense. I dont know but that's how it goes. 2017 is a bubble burst bull run. While this year is the real or realistically bull run with support from most institutional groups and known company.

You need to be aware of the trends and cycles that are constantly happening in any market, and these are the ups and downs, bull and bear.
My advice to you is not to burden yourself too much with how long the current growth will last, but to set your own goals and follow them.

If we see the last bull market, BTC had a bull season till December 17th, 2017, it was the day when BTC reached the ATH and at that time, BTC domination was 65% maybe (have to check exact %), and gradually, later it had downed to 50% and less when altcoins had the ATH in January 10, 2018 (for most alt).

Most of the speculations that you might see everywhere not only in the forum says that this bull run can last up to 2022.

@OP you should be meticulous in choosing the influencers you watch. They could be your life saver and source of information but they could also be the source of your panic with what they release to their channels.
