hey guys new to the forum and new to mining. I have done quite a bit of research about wiring the rig beforehand but still need a little guidance.
Hardware 2 rtx 3060 1 rtx 2080
I need help with powering everything correctly. My risers came with 6 pin to sata (after doing research that’s not a good option to use). I don’t want to run Molex. I want 6 pin  x 6pin??
Other thing I’m confused about related to that I have a 750w PSU. It has 2 8 pin plug ins labeled pcie/cpu and 2 6 pin labeled sata/hdd.

From what I understand. I’m going to run 1 8 pin x 8pin X2 from psu to two of my gpu. I’ll use another to wire the 3rd gpu . Which throws me off because it’s labeled pcie/cpu on psu? Am I right in plugging it in that spot of PSU

As far as powering risers. Can I buy 6 pin male to 6 pin male or possibly the 6 pinx6pin x2? And use the data/hdd connectors at PSU?

Sorry if this sounds completely wrong I’m new and trying to get an understanding of what I’m doing haha.

You don't have to use that SATA cable that comes with the riser, just use molex or 6pin cable from powersupply, they can power riser itself too, you will need good powersupply that have numbers of extensions 6pin and 8pins if you don't want to use molex, you are only planning to run 3 GPUs I don't see any reason why molex isn't a good choice here

For rtx 3060 you can use molex raisers. Connect the raisers with a molex cable from the power supply.
For the rtx 2080, you only need to use 6 pin raisers because this video card uses a lot of power.
If there are not enough connectors on one power supply, then you need to buy a second power supply or order a server power supply with the required number of required connectors.

Yes molex is safe, connect molex cables from your power supply and you are in safe hands, I'm even using molex extension cables in my rigs and it powers rtx3080 with no issues

Looking back at my riser they don’t offer molex option. Which leaves me at 6 pin. My psu didn’t provide any 6 pin options in wiring. I need something with 4 8 pin slots correct

I don’t have molex on these risers didn’t realize that. I may change my psu to something with more options

You can buy them separately, it doesn't have to come with the risers, there are molex extensions online, molex to 6pin like in the picture below, they sometimes follow new graphic cards in pack
