Hi guys,

For a month now i am mining Monero (CPU only). GPUs (4 rigs) i am using to mine ETH.
I started it as a test and left it since then. Just realized how non-profitable it is Smiley

Is there anything better that you could suggest mining using CPU at this time.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I wouldn't touch this, it's a bot.

Regarding the original question, consider there's only one CPU per rig, your expectations might be a little high.

You need high end CPU for mining and trust me they costs way more than even mid entry GPUs that can do 30mh per second, it's better to keep using your GPU for mining, CPU is not worth investing on for mining right now

Mining with CPU depends on what CPU you have, if it's not AMD Ryzen or Threadripper just forget it and these CPUs costs over 1000$+, even the Threadripper is over 2000+ so can you see the error using CPU for mining? You will be spending more for little gains, Not worth it

1950x threadripper makes me aprox 53cents CAD on nicehash mining randomx.  so By itself its not terrible profitable But its on the rig with a 3060 and a 2080 super.  so  I just trow it in the mix.  50 cent a day.

Thanks all for replays.

I am definitely not looking to invest more in CPU mining.
Four rigs i am mining ETH on are mining Monero simultaneously , i was just not sure if there is something little more profitable than monero currently )

I tried this at one time off some CPU's as well.. It just doesn't work, lol. Not enough power in them, so if you plan on mining with regular CPU's the only thing you can do is get a ton of them..
