Sweeping Wallet with Private key with potential Fork-Coins?

Let's say I have a wallet that may¤¤¤ have some BTC, it may also have some BTG, BCH etc.

If I sweep it in Electrum, would all the alt-coins follow along - meaning can I then use the new wallet to extract any potential BCH, BTG, BCH?

If so, after importing into Electrum, which is the easiest way to retrieve the fork-coins?

AND - would it be possible to skip step 1, meaning can I just sweep directly into a wallet?

¤¤¤(I say may because they come from a good old Armoury Wallet, and importing in that way will take loads of time since blockchain needs to be dowloaded, but as I understand with the PrivateKey I can swipe it directly..)

Coinomi wallet is close source wallet, and I can not encourage anyone to use it. But, it will be the best for ease as it support all the forked coins mentioned. All you need is to sweep the private key into Coinomi wallet. You will see all the forked coins along. Then you can transfer the bitcoin and the forked coins to an offline wallet which is the best for security and safety, or any reputed wallet you want.

It is recommended that you first sweep your wallet or move your funds in other wallet address before claiming any other forked coins, and best wallet for that would be Electrum.

No, your forked coins will stay at your previous address. Most forks use a snapshot to distribute their supply, so you'll have to manually move them. Even if the private key etc is the same, the chain is different, hence why they won't be moved automatically.

No, Electrum is only compatible with the bitcoin blockchain, none of the others you mentioned.  It will only sweep the bitcoin from your private keys, all the fork-coins will remain.  There are Electrum "forks" for some of the fork-coins.  You'll have to download a wallet for each fork, and sweep the keys into that wallet.

Be very careful, however.  Electrum is a common software for scammers to mimic.  Be sure to verify the download.

No. Only the bitcoin will move. The forkcoins will remain on the previous address.

After moving your bitcoin to your new Electrum wallet, you'll need to download a wallet for each forkcoin, import your old private key in to it, and then create a transaction to move that forkcoin.

Definitely do not do this. You are going to be exposing the private key to that address to a variety of wallets to move your forkcoins. There is a high chance of compromising that private key and putting at risk any bitcoin which are still stored on it. Move the bitcoin off that address first, and then go about importing the private key to different forkcoin wallets.

You need the old address's private key to claim your fork coins and sweeping a pk into Electrum does not import it into the new wallet. It simply creates a transaction which sends your whole balance to the new wallet (new private keys).

Therefore, the answer for your first question is no. Fork coins will not be moved to Electrum along with bitcoin.
However, for security reasons, it's highly recommended to move your bitcoins to a new wallet before you start claiming its forks.

I ended up just using Exodus, and sweept everything there. Manage to get some BCH and BTG - together with a little bit of BTC...

Me 2014, moving coins: "Nevermind, too lazy to fill in the last few decimals, its just a few dollars"

Me in 2021: "Hmm, I wonder if I have some change left in any of those Armoury Wallets..."  ¤Eventually finds 3k usd worth of Bitcoin¤
