for me, the most important benefit of taking a vacation is just plain rejuvenation. in one way or another, anything we do is taking a toll in all aspects of our lives. taking a meaningful break will allow you to refocus and recalibrate your outlook in life. it also helps you breathe better now that your stressors are (temporarily) out of the picture. lastly, vacations will only be effective if you do not badger or attack yourself because you took one. remember that you deserve it.

And it doesn't need to be expensive if you can't afford to. There are so many cheap rental houses now or maybe even camping would do the much needed get-away. There will always be a lot of options even near your place. You just need to look for them. And also, I like places that are not crowded also. It is better to contemplate on your life if the place is at least quiet. You don't need to splurge on expensive getaway just to attain the same goal.

There are too many obstacles in the way at the moment for me to holiday abroad. We have to pay for a take multiple covid tests & only certain countries are permitted to visit. Some countries mean upon return we have to be in a quarantine style hotel. I will wait until this pandemic nightmare & all the restrictions are gone before I holiday abroad.

If you can, you should get a break in your own country. Maybe a few days away in another city or something. Any kind of break is a good way to refresh & relax.

I usually have two holidays a year but I haven’t been able to leave my country due to corona virus. I know some other people have had much tougher times during the pandemic but not being able to go on holiday has definitely negatively affected my mental health.

In this pandemic, people can not go anywhere instead of staying at their homes. But I consider it a vacation for everyone because they are too busy out there, work without a stop for their family, so they really need to stay at home for some time. But no matter what, we need to release our busy day at our house just to work from home because we need to have time for our family and that can be a vacation for family and us because maybe we do not meet each other for some time.
