You're right! BNB was able to overcome the problems of BTC and ETH and at the moment this is the most important thing, as it allows the crypto community to quickly transfer cryptocurrency with minimal transaction prices. Probably the concept of decentralization at some point was exaggerated and not, as we can see, could not find a solution related to the cost of transactions and their speed, and now this is not so important, because the same BNB has already solved these problems and is already attracting a lot of attention.

One more reason could be we got used to cheaper transaction with Ethereum.
When it was gone, we look for an alternative and Binance offered a good one.
Regarding the value of it, I agree it will take a long time. As long as Binance keeps on being the number 1 exchange out there.
That is the root of all this price being pumped in such a short span of time. Taking out the root will have no fruits.
I hope they can keep up with their good offers and their customer needs.

Remaining valuable is something completely different from remaining stable. I believe all the well-known coins are always valuable because there are enough adopters to keep buying so that it will be withstanding against selling pressures. I have not seen any established coin got delisted from exchanges. So, it means all established coins are valuable over the years.

Remaining stable is not possible in this early stage of crypto space and this is the reason almost all the crypto currencies are facing cycle of pumps and dumps periodically. I guess BSC cannot be an exception for that cycle.

I completely agree with you and I think that the BNB will continue to accumulate value and more and more people will turn to it and invest for this reason, even if they do not use it for transactions in the Binans ecosystem.
Binance Coin is a exelent oportunity.

Maybe individual that are new to crypto might not care about Decentralized or Centralized nature. Binance is giving head-up due to the price but as soon as the ethereum POS is fully implemented, the party will be over and everyone will go back to the former way. I am not disputing the fact that BSC is not a good project but many will still prefer ETH over BSC if the issue of fee is solved

Most of the users nowadays are profit driven and not ideologically driven. Investing in centralized tokens and coins can be risky, but for a lot of people the level of risk involved is not large enough to deter from investment. And a lot of centralized cryptocurrencies are already in circulation, and very few users have faced issues with them (I am talking about XRP, USDC.etc). I guess for short-term investment BNB is going to be OK.

BNB is my favorite altcoin, apart from having good prospects, BNB also has very low transaction fees compared to etherem, this provides its own advantages for BNB, because now many traders have switched to the BSC network, of course BNB will stay afloat with  high prices for a long time ,,,

I do agree with all of your points mates, BSC has become a store of value for some people. People bought BNB are not only caused by the solution that already offered but BNB gives so many benefits to its token holders compared with another exchange token. The scalability problem is not a big problem as long as it can be forked to increase the blocksize but the main problem was whether the community wanna fork it or not.

That will need a lot of effort to prepare the fork but it's not impossible to be implemented on ethereum to increase the block size. BNB may become the next ethereum next years

Store of value? That's what people used to think of ETH in 2017 when they put it in at around 1400. It's not a store of value if it drops to $100 which was almost 6% of ATH, and several times too.

Bitcoin at the worst crash was only 15% of ATH and that also didn't last long.

BNB is way way too new to call it store of value.

Yeah sure... I have been hearing about this for the last two years. To this date, the Ethereum developers haven't taken any concrete step to lower the transaction fee. They always play delaying tactics to temporarily satisfy the critics. On the other hand, the developers behind Binance Smart Chain (BSC) have worked hard to make their Blockchain as technologically advanced and user friendly as possible. Nothing is constant in the field of cryptocurrency. Users will eventually prefer a coin that is more user friendly, although this transition may not happen overnight.

Indeed Binance Smart Chain has the solution to the current issues we are facing now with ethereum, and this has made it one of the most popular chains around now and tons of projects launching on the chain these days, we have seen bnb gained more value in just a few days,I know bnb will remain valuable for a long term that's for sure, but what will happen to bnb when Ethereum 2.0 is released? cause it is said that the new ethereum update will solve all the existing problems on the ethereum network, if the ETH 2.0 solve the problem, don't you think people will just go back to Ethereum?

You are right; I think the big reason for BNB to come to its current position is the high gas fee of Ethereum. Many new projects are coming to BSC instead of Ethereum due to the high fees of Ethereum. As a result, the popularity of BSC is increasing rapidly and the price of BNB is increasing. If the Ethereum fee is not reduced, I believe BNB will rise to a much higher level.

Well.. I have to say that this is strange. Binance is one of the competitors for Coinbase. So I wasn't really expecting Binance to list the Coinbase stock on their platform. But then, Binance allows stablecoins such as USDT and USDC, which can be considered as competitors to their own stablecoin (BUSD). So at least we can say that this is not something that is out of the blue. In the meantime everyone is patiently waiting for the COIN listing on NASDAQ. One of the biggest events in the history of cryptocurrency to this date.

Even though i don't own any BNB myself and i personally don't like Binance and CZ that much because of centralisation issues i agree with you OP that Binance will be one of the most important companies in the crypto space for the years to come. Their BSC Chain is really great and you can send transactions within seconds and for a few cents of gas fee. That is why a lot of project and launchpads switched to BSC recently and this is also the reason why the price of BNB skyrocketed in the last days and weeks.
I don't think though that BNB will overtake Ethereum in terms of market cap. Ethereum will remain the no. 1 smart chain blockchain out there and most projects still choose ETH as their platform and the Fee issues should also be gone with future updates.

ETH is stuck at too high a cost and tokens issued on the ETH platform are not welcomed by investors.
In contrast, BNB is doing their job well, most projects on the BSC platform are successful, especially those listed on the Binance exchange.
If ETH fails to solve the problem of transaction fees they will most likely be ignored by BNB in the race.
