I am all Adesanya here. I have been a big fan of that dude and I know he can come back and claim his title again. His confidence is not broken even with all the ups and downs of his career recently and I think that's his best character which is why he will win this match.
We have a nice co-main event and main cards too. 1 more week before the fight.

Regarding Adesanya, I believe they pushed him to an unnumbered card because of the way he lost his last fight. The UFC probably expected a lot from him, and ended up leaving Strickland in charge, which generated a lot of controversy. Maybe this allowed him to "start from scratch" and prove himself capable again.

This was an amusing statement about Sharaputdin Magomedov but from watching the weigh-ins yesterday for this event it is true.
UFC fans are starting to warm up to the tag of his being the last one-eyed pirate.
He does have exceptional skill as we all witnessed from his last fight with the first ever double backfisted knockout!

The weigh-ins only had the one fighter miss weight and that was Lucas Alexander. But the fight will continue on this card.

Think I will put down Magomedov and Imavov down as a parlay before those co-main and main events happen.

This fight night is actually in about 9 hours because of it being in Saudi Arabia so they have an extra early start time for us UFC fans in North America.

Adesanya is down again, and I think era of him as a champion material is finally finished, this was his third loss in a row.
I really didnt expect Nassourdine Imavov to win with a KO but it happened early in second round.

Yes, it was shocking and it was terrible to see in live. Our legendary Izzy got KOed. I think that the fire is gone in his eyes and if he doesn't really plan to be more serious and come back with old fire, then he should retire or he will follow the path of Tony Ferguson.

Another shock was that Shara Bullet lost the fight too. He isn't unbeatable anymore, MVP won against him. I don't know what's happening with (Nur)Magomedovs, this is a very bad year for them. Merab Dvalishvili cracked the door and now Shara lost after Umar. It's interesting to see what's next with (Nur)Magomedovs, especially when Islam stated that he doesn't want to fight after his teammates, after what happened with Umar.

As for losing sight in one eye, I doubt that mattered since how could a guy do a double backfist and knockout his opponent if he was that blind in hitting a precise move like this which had never been done before?
Anyways, that was in his last fight before this one against Page, so the bookies were going off of that last win when they were producing the odds for this one.

They were already taking about him going against the winner of DDP vs Strickland before he lost.
Now that is completely out of the question with him losing.
They were discussing about him retiring from the sport suffering such a large defeat and not looking competitive in the second round at all.
But he is what, at the age of 35? And he said he was not looking to retire since he has a few more years left and if the UFC are making money from his fights then they are paying him alot from these draws to his fights, I can't see him doing this either.
People do forget he did KO the current champion Poatan.

Adesanya made a mistake, and that's why he lost. That's a fact, which makes his opponent better than him. It was really a card of surprises, but everything was within the limits of the fighters. Shara could have been more active, but he just got scared or something. While Adesanya made a mistake and it cost him a lot.

I cannot see the other options yet but I am going for DDP here without any doubt. One takedown can probably end it all as Strickland is really not good at it. He will be dependent on his takedown defense but DDP is strong that he can definitely make 1 or 2.

I have some doubt that Dricus may not be able to takedown Sean but when to comes to DDP absorbing punching and retaliate with leg kicks, this will ruin Sean.
