When fighters say that this means they were, more or less, offered as being the backup fighter towards the co main or main event for that card prior for any future fights. So they can be training incase either of those events fighters pull out due to injury or for other reasons.

Maybe? Instead of fighting Rafael Fiziev, Justin Gaethje could fight Charles Oliveira instead. That will be a more solid and understandable fight, as I would surely want to see that fight even though Rafael Fiziev has something up his sleeve for Gaethje. He is very straightforward and doesn't have any material of surprise or a not calculating fighter, not like Charles Oliveira, who has a ground game and good for Gaethje to try if he can beat the wrestle but for me that would definitely a good recommendation but still,l Fiziev is ready to fight now. That would be a replacement, in my opinion.

I think the fight was too one-sided. Almabayev was hurt so badly after that punch in the face and he just ran in circles trying to avoid Kape which led to the referee deciding to finish the fight through TKO.
Maybe Kape does need a fight against higher seeds but I doubt they will give him the title match against Pantoja just like that. But if Daddy Dana decides he wants some fresh face in the flyweight division title fight then he might be the guy for it.

On my betslip I posted on here, had only Gomis & Ribovics incorrect as those were two of the upsets for the night.
Which was actually a really good event for a fight night.
We had quite alot of knockouts and the Kape for the main event was entertaining to watch even if by the end of it he made his opponent run all over the octagon.

Had put an all-in of my winnings I had previously from another sports on Manel Kape and won 166xrp.
Which by the time I saw it the next day had risen by 35% of what I had valued it at in usd before placing the bet.
So overall it ended in a great weekend for all my sportsbets.

The most awaited event in the UFC is the Main Card for sure, as UFC 313 is this stuff with great fighters in most cards as yeah Alex Pereira is surely the likable to win in this event for sure while Rafael Fiziev from his loss to Justin Gaethje many is thinking that this is Rafael Fiziev revenge fight as they think that he can turn his defeat into a win as Rafael Fiziev is the favorite to win here, while Amanda Lemos will go against Iasmin Lucindo as for me Amanda Lemos should be careful with King Green against Mauricio Ruffy, Curtis Blaydes against Rizvan Kuniev, and Alex Morono against Carlos Leal,

In my opinion, with the main card, Magomed Ankalaev can not underestimate Alex Pereira in the stand-up fight. For me, he should focus on defeating Alex Pereira on the ground, but knowing Magomed Ankalaev, he will surely challenge himself to defeat Alex Pereira in the stand-up, so if he can realize early that he can not defeat Alex Pereira in the stand-up, then he can surely go into ground mode, but I don't know for sure if Alex Pereira had a weapon for the ground combat of Magomed Ankalaev.

He said that part of his money is already earmarked for causes of this type, something around 2.5% if I am not mistaken. And besides, in his religion, betting is not allowed.

Whether this is valid, I do not know. But he is very defensive and looking for excuses before the fight.

They know Ankalev has been trying to get a title fight against Pereira and would accept any deal just to get this shot. He even offer not to take down Pereira when they fight which means they are just going to be fight standing. Of course this offer were just ignored but they rather not give that shot to Ankalev until this Ramadan of all time, they really pick this dates.

Of course tis is an excuse. I like Pereira but this fight isn't a fair fight. What is there to understand is that they all are to follow what UFC does.

Ankalaev's response was that betting is forbidden in Islam but he donates 2.5% of his wealth every year and he also said that such things should stay hidden, not publicly revealed. I think, Ankalaev doesn't have enough money to compete with Pereira.

He isn't fasting. Pereira revealed that he received food at his doorstep and then Ankalaev also confirmed that it was true and he had no other chance but to violate Ramadan because he had to make a weight. By the way, later I also understood that in Islam, you can violate fasting during Ramadan if you are far from your home, so, it probably is okay for him.

He even offer not to take down Pereira when they fight which means they are just going to be fight standing.

Someone asked him this question again recently and his response was that we will see. I think he is a hypocrite and he will wrestle if it helps him to win the match (but I'm not 100% sure).

Ankalaev is just preparing his excuses in case he loses and Poatan created this bet to test his confidence and possibly take away the money from the purse he would receive. Because from what I saw, his last fight was $400,000, $200 to fight and $200 to win. So, I believe that the amount that Poatan reported was with that in mind.

Alex looked very mad after one of the Russian reporters said if he loses will make him go back to work in the car repair shop.
They are trying to trigger him to make a mistake with statements like that. Everybody knows how a hard time he had growing up and had to work hard in that car shop. It was in some documentary a while ago and even mentioned in the embedded series.

Anyways, back to the schedule of the UFC 313 at hand!
The weigh-ins are just underway so we will see if all the fighters had a good weight cut or not.
Lets see if Ankalaev even had a tougher time since he should of been fasting and only allowed water unless what @Synchronice mentioned about being away for a given distance from home is a true statement towards his case.

Very interesting clash of styles, and I think this is going to be one of the toughest tests for Light HW champion Alex Pereira.
Magomed Ankalaev didnt lose a single fight since 2018 and he is younger, but Pereira have reach advantage in this fight.
This can go both ways and odds are suggesting early finish, but I think we could see full five rounds battle.

Ankalaev by Decision. Ankalaev may be able to escape Pereira's left and will grapple all the duration of the fight.  Ankalaev will be able to dominate the ground but will not submit nor KO Pereira which the fight be just be Decision.

A decision will mean they will also have a rematch and will be worth it for UFC.
