Finally a win and a nice comeback for Rose Namajunas!
She deserved to win and I want to see her again trying to challenge the champion in Flyweight division Alexa Grasso, but she needs to work hard for that.
Maybe next stop for her could be fight with winner of Erin Blanchfield vs Manon Fiorot fight.

They just fought a few months ago in Paris but that was only 3 rounds so Fiorot will get to see if she can get past those championship rounds being the main event in this fight card.
I agree with you there, would like to see Grasso against Thug Rose too as now she can having filling herself out and looking comfortable in her new weight-class as a flyweight.

Well back in September of last year but alas, would like to see belt holders fight every 4-5 months.

I reckon Thug Rose will certainly want to have revenge for her friend. Valentina's last fight against Alexa Grasso was a draw, however, Valentina was the real winner of the fight, I reckon. The skeptical me thinks that they cannot give it to her because it was the UFC's celebration of Mexican independence day hehehehe. Will it be a trilogy? We cannot be quite certain. Valentina has been very silent after the fight.

8 months rest for former middleweight champion Chris Weidman. I missed his game back in August so I guess this is a chance to see him again in the Octagon. I hope it will be an entertaining fight against Bruno Silva. Silva was active in 2023 but only won 1 of those 3 fights.

Payton Talbott is a favorite to win same as Karl Williams. So put them both along with the underdog Ribas as a single.
Not sure what state of mind Namajunas is in from fight to fight so don't want to rely on this and her end up losing again as she did against Manon Fiorot.

It was a great fight but not the Main and Co-Main it was pretty much OK as Namajunas is really playing safe, but because of her great movements she can definitely evade and make combinations and that is what is great about Namajunas Apparently Payton Talbot and Edmen Shahbazyan did a great job, well not great but extremely great as both fighters end up their fight with a KO win. apparently, I made a great win towards those 3 bets that I made, here are the results.

Actually, I also like Erin Blanchfield more than Rose Namajuna's style, Even though Namajunas got smooth movement to evade his opponent she never had someone with a great wrestling caliber like Erin Blanchfield at all this is her 1st time taking something with this kind of intensive ground game for sure she will have a hard time against her, and as for Manon Fiorot this could be an easy task for Blanchfield as Fiorot doesn't have any ground game as if she have trained for it you will surely doubt if she can take on Erin Blachfield.

Dang! I have forgotten all the fights because of the Holidays, but the UFC Fight Night: Blanchfield vs. Fiorot was really weird before the Main Event fight was really crazy and I never thought that Manon Fiorot would win against Erin Blanchfield and it was a good thing that I never bet on this fight card as I may lose that bet because I will be going with Erin Blanchfield for sure.

Erin Blanchfield was shot down by Manon Fiorot her takedown defense was really epic and her striking was absolutely amazing in this fight Manon Fiorot outclassed Erin Blanchfield with the striking and her takedown defense the one that Blanchfield got a really hard time for her to take Fiorot to the ground and that was made Fiorot into her with her striking I haven't made my bet but surely watching the replay was really great aswell.

Joaquin Buckley VS Vicente Luque

Vicente Luque is not the same anymore versus a much younger opponent that is Joaquin Buckley in this fight Buckley has set up something for Luque and at the end of that 1st round I think Luque has a moment decision to try to take Buckley down if he can but that takedown defense was really sweet for Joaquin Buckley because that takedown attempt from Vicente Luque has proven his worst mistake and Buckley capitalize with a takedown defense that mounted Luque and give him a nasty ground and pound.

Chris Weidman VS Bruno Silva

This is one weird fight I think this is a wrong call and for Chris Weidman to win this fight and never get a point deducted the referee Gary Copeland had multiple wrong calls on this fight in my opinion after watching the fight it should have been a foul so this is really weird even though Chris Weidman is coming back from that horrible leg injury it was not really right for him to win this fight in my opinion.

Jacob Malkoun VS Andre Petroski

Now this is also a weird fight that I am talking about because Andre Petroski was knockout with a very weird collision on Jacob Malkoun's hip, at that time Andre Petroski was executing a takedown attempt when Jacob Malkoun grazed a punch on Petroski's head and then hit him in his hip that hip was solid as steel that Andre Petroski head hit it that Jacob Malkoun then executes a hammer fist that knockout Petroski it was really that solid hip that got into him to lose against Jacob Malkoun.

The referee thought Silva was knocked down but the truth is not just one but two eye pokes happened when they put it in slow-mo replay. It's still a TKO for Weidman in the end. The funny thing is he gave Bruno a tip to never drop like that after a poke. Hilarious! That's two eyes, what will you do?

The co-main event was the same, stoppage of the referee. Joaquin Buckley won the fight through TKO but that's more acceptable than the fight before them. Luque is not fighting back and he was warned many times.

Main event: Well, it was too obvious from 1st to 5th round. The long-reach advantage of Fiorot was used perfectly and her accurate head strikes are too damn good. Rose on the other hand seems to be having a tough time going in. She badly needed to risk it so she could strike at his own distance but she was always stopped midway.

Was a solid UFC Fight Night card which actually started and featured at night time in AC!

Right after Loopey lost that is when all my picks went to the way side and lost. It always seems to happen that way. It is strange when this occurs and seems to be a curse in these fight night cards for me when it comes to betting as I had Blanchfield on all my accas.

From the looks of the market header, Martin Vettori was going to fight Brendan Allen for this fight card but then Chris Curtis took it instead. Because I didn't know this one was going to happen until I saw the promo during the last UFC fight night event.

Chris Curtis retired three times during his UFC career back in his Contenders series days.

It was really clear that Chris Weidman poked Bruno Silva in the eye and I didn't only count just 2 pokes but it was 4 pokes that I counted, it was hilarious that the referee didn't see that, or maybe Weidman paid the Ref for him to not get disqualified I really think that he is not fitted any more in this kind of sports and he needs to resort in this kind of things for him to win the fight for me that injury has given him something that he is not the same Chris Weidman and he would resort to anything to win, I really wish he never has returned.

Joaquin Buckley is something to look forward to and for me, he has the key component to be on top of the Welterweight but if Shavkat Rakhmonov is still in the Welterweight then he would likely have a problem getting the belt.

while I really like Erin Blanchfield Manon Fiorot looks really slick and her defensive wrestling has really improved from a fighter like Blanchfield you can really say that the level of defense in Fiorot was absolutely amazing.

I am not even finished watching the whole video but different emotions already came out from me.
Alex Pereira. He is a strong fighter without a doubt and he also defeated one of my idols the Stylebender, Israel Adesanya. But he got him back and claimed the title again.
I always say that Alex is for a heavier weight because he looks big and look what happened, he became a champion again. 2 weight classes champion which is awesome.

But, Jamahal Hill is not to be messed with. He didn't really lose the belt from a fight but only due to an Achilles injury from a basketball game. That means if he is fully recovered there's a chance he might take the belt back unless he is not mentally ready.
That dude can 1 punch KO. Alex should be careful with everything. He can kick and punch heavy too. I say it's a good match.

Dana is sitting on both fighters, Chandler hasn't fought in more than a year either but even so I don't think Connor has a good chance of winning this fight. However, when it comes to fighters who can bring people to buy $80 for a PPV, Connor is the guy. And so Chandler invested in this fight that he did wait.

Let's say Connor wins, he will rank once again, I think he only has 2 fights left for his contract. Whoever is his next fight he still has less chance of winning a fight anyone above him.

It's actually funny that both McGregor and Chandler lost to Poirier and it was basically in a row because this happened year after year (2 wins against McGregor in 2021 and against Chandler in 2022) They both got hit by a train and are trying to see who's best.
To be honest they're both mediocre right now. Chandler lost all his significant fights (Poirier, Oliveira and Gaethie) and only managed to defeat washed out Ferguson, a guy with Autism, ADHD and some other stuff, who hasn't won a fight since 2019. McGregor spent his last few years partying and playing in movie. I expect a boring fight when none of them show anything spectacular. Nothing like the good old McGregor vs Diaz fights.

There was something I watched a few weeks ago while McGregor was doing interviews when his new movie was being released and Chandler seems washed up and only a peg at this point.
Just so McGregor has a step on his way back to the UFC win column nothing more.
Dana has said during one of his interviews recently that McGregor doesn't need the UFC as he has made as much money from them as he has with branding of Whiskey and whatever else he has his name attached too.
He just wants that next hit of being in the spotlight again.

@darkangel11 After Poirier lost to Gaethje the way he did I thought it was the start of his downward spiral. That was a brutal head kick, the same one that took out Usman. And look what happened to him. Well we don't hear much from him as he hasn't fought in over a year and a half.
So thought the same would happen to Dustin but luckily he got that win against Benoit St.Denis and now he is back on track. Atleast his name is coming up on who Conor should fight after Chandler.
