This was the case last 2018 where a big Japanese exchange has been hack and just after a few hours after that news has been published, the price of the BTC in the market has dramatically subsided and it was almost a red market every day. But today, this kind of event will rarely happen because things have changed a lot since then. there are many companies that are involved in Bitcoins now and these guys are not playing around. As you can see, they are the main reason why the price has gained a historical All-Time High.

Why not make example like what happened in March 2020 when the Pandemic attacks and affect the market more than 50-60% in just 24 hours.

I agree,but we live in 2021,not 2013 or 2015.
It gets harder and harder to hack a cryptocurrency exchange and steal millions of dollars worth of coins.
The market also reacts different to such news now.There's less panic selling and crypto exchanges have less control over the market prices.
I love bear markets too,but we will have to wait to witness another one.
I'm not quite sure that "history repeats itself".I'm also not sure that Bitcoin will keep forever being in a constant cycle of price corrections and new ATHs.

Dropping a lot of price is good news for you when you want to invest and waiting for price dropping. Now you have no money invested in any coin. On the other hand dropping price is bad news for themselves who already invested a lot in different coin or a special coin. Price rising and dropping is a character of Crypto currency. But dropping 50% in every coin at a time, i don't think so.

Well,Everyone should take advantage every bad situation.Last couple of years no more hacking in crypto exchange.Many companies and many investor that are involved with bitcoin. You see, they are more advantage since 2018.I Think bitcoin price will keep it up.

it will definitely be a good chance to buy but only the brave can take a step as such. IMO i dont think there would be any hack that will cause such 50% in price drop at this time. there are other things that would cause price drops of such amount when the time comes while any hack news will just strengthen the dip.

In this situation only weak investors are likely to quit for not having patience or not used to seeing the market moving downward.

If ever there's a huge dropped in the future, the investors who will take advantage it more are those who dont have holdings when the bullish season occur (just like now). They probably regret not buying during correction and now hoping for a price drop to join the ride and hold.

History will repeat itself, we will encounter a bearish and bullish market again, however at this point, its hard to predict when can we see a drop in price since crypto is quite popular now unlike before.

Yeah, it would be great, but I'm pretty sure this crypto market is way more different than last year or years before that and I strongly believe even if one of the main exchanges was hacked it wouldn't impact the price as much as you'd expect it to, it would certainly not cause a 50% drop and that's for sure, crypto market is just too strong as of now to react too much to such negative news.

Not only crypto market is in a bullrun but the thing is that the huge price spike that crypto market had created a situation that now there are now tons of people waiting on the sidelines for dips to get on Bitcoin or altcoins and I really believe $3k, $5k or even $9k are very unlikely scenarios for Bitcoin price for a good while.

it's not 2017 anymore. there may be hacks, any exchange can be hacked but regardless of bad hack news, the bear market what you anticipate might not really cause a big drop of a price anymore. because it looks like Bitcoin is widely known now all over the world. every investor wants to get their hands with it and if the price drop to half right now, many will eventually grab their chance.

That's real for now, some time ago there was a hacking issue that resulted in the crypto price going down. but I believe the decline is only temporary and and I think crypto will still rise even if there are any hacking issues or issues.

Most of people afraid that after an exchange got hacked the hacker might dump the coin immediately and cause the market to shake but these kind of hackers most likely uses P2P that won't affect the market at all. I mean, the transaction could get traced and the exchange might put an eye to the coin movement from an address to another one and if they find out it's going to an exchange's address the account immediately frozen. It might be different if the coins that got hacked amounts to ten thousands btc or more but below that, probably won't cause panic selling.

Fundamental analysis, probably a good news or bad news will somehow affect the price of bitcoin. But when it suddenly dump and you are about to sell your bitcoin, panic sell will gonna happen to those who do not know how to handle those sudden sideways or sudden market moves.

An exchange hack will affect the price, it all depends on what the hacker will do with all the coins that he/she has stolen. Nonetheless, the bear market is a perfect opportunity to buy some coins, specifically bitcoin and ethereum.

I think any bad news had no to very less effect on the cryptocurrency market right now. Every time the market pulls back, it pushes even stronger because of its maturity. Not like in the great hype of 2017 and the great crash of 2018. Some people quit because they could not afford to lose anymore especially those people who has many mouth to feed or something similar. Unlike people who has extra money to lose they can add more money and did not have to worry even in worst case scenario.

Well, that's only applicable if you have some extra stablecoins that could be used to bought BTC but if the FUD has been done that your main balance was into BTC and alts that could be sometimes catastrophic.
