Most of it I tried to outline but I received this square and it has 7 more sets of what is displayed in the image. I believe it is an old key or recovery phrase but have no idea how to decrypt it. I think top to bottom may represent 0-9 but just wanted to know what others thought. Have you seen anyone store a key like this? Any idea why there would be three colors? maybe one color is numbers and one is letters? but then I don't know why there would be a third. It feels like a serious brain puzzle. Any help is appreciated. There are in total 350 squares if I add up all of them which seems too long. Most older key types I have seen are a maximum 256 I believe? Hoping someone who has been in this space longer than I can provide some insight. Thank you.

I tried to embed the image instead of link but had no luck.

Also, this is just an example of one of the squares I made up and not a 1:1 of one of the segments.

Really hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

If you want to encrypt private key, you will need to follow the BIP38 standard so you will be able to know the easy and usual way to decrypt the private key. About your image, I am not certain, but does not look like a private key, I have not even come across this kind of encryption mbefore, which may not actually be an encryption at all.

Do the squares actually have any text/characters/numbers in them? Or is it just a 5x10 grid of coloured squares? Huh

If they have characters... what sort of character set do you see? Is it only HEX (0-9A-F) or is it all alphanumerics? Huh

5x10 with three colors... Maybe you're supposed to take the SHA-256 hash of the images and use the hash as a private key.

Also, it looks familiar, not Bitcoin-related but for an old game, but I can't remember which.
