Hello,

I am currently assembling a mining rig, however I have a question,  would a Corsair Enthusiast Series RM1000x, Fully Modular 80 Plus Gold 1000 Watt ? I currently planing to use RTX 3060, (2) 2060, 1080ti and 1070ti.

3060 = 120W
2060 = 140W

1070ti = 130W


= 700W so even with Mobo and pcie  you should be ok...will be close...but you can always come down a little in gpu power (115/130/130/160/110) if you have too.

Check and make sure it has enough power plugs for the PCIe 6 & 8 pins but total watts looks doable.

Motherboard, CPU, cables draws power too, the whole watt needed to run those graphic cards must be calculated as well, I'm sure 1000w isn't healthy, it's always good to have more room available to prolong powersupply life, 1200watt for me on this setup

You will be pushing it and if your OC settings reset for any reason you will be in danger. Besides, you have only 6 cables for carts, 1080Ti definitely needs 2, 1070Ti might need 2 as well. And that's only on ETH mining, if you switch to any other coin power consumption will rise 25-35%.

The 1080p video card should be properly connected with two different 8-pin cables. But if you lower the consumption to 180 watts, you can use 1 cable 8 pin + 8pin, because Corsair RM Series power supplies have high quality cables.

If the graphics card settings are reset:
4 * 150 (other GPUs) +250 (1080ti) +100 (Mobo) = 950 Watts

It is better to use Hive os, I have not seen there a reset of the settings of video cards, as on a Windows system.

I prefer OCZ power supply than Corsair, they are highly customizeable and the wires are so strong too, you can't get a melted wire using OCZ powerpack

Any PSU should be monitored, even the best thick-wired PSU. With graphics cards that consume more than 150 watts, the power supply check should be more frequent. As soon as your farm has turned off, you need to check the contacts on the power supply.
In this situation, I would use 1 power supply
