but why don't you enter BTC and BNB on your list? I see Binance users have grown a lot this year and that will definitely make BNB prices even better. I also think BTC is the most recommended investment for this year.

maybe because bitcoin is the biggest crypto right now so the OP doesn't include it as an alternative investment and after all bitcoin is the king of the altcoins that exist today , but I also wonder what the OP thinks that doesn't make BNB an option, even though we know BNB now this is one of the potential altcoins, especially after the BSC was launched by Binance it will certainly make BNB stronger because people inevitably have to buy BNB as a gas fee if they want to make transactions at BSC, meaning that if the demand for BNB increases it will certainly make the price BNB is getting higher in the future.

Bitcoin might not give you the best odds for huge gains, but I am still of the impression it has enough potential to increase in price slowly but steady.

I agree but you missed the point here. The goal of small investors is to make fast money, so they will no go for the higher marketcap altcoins or BTC which increases value slowly. The 10% is 10% profit for investors but the %10 increase on BTC charts is harder compared to small marketcap altcoins. The total marketcap makes sense after one point, ignore institutional preferences since we have no access to big funds.

I think the best altcoins to invest in 2021 are, ETH, BNB, Cardano, Litecoin, XRP, TRX, UNI, STX, a polkadot and the doge, because these altcoins are altcoins that have a very good potential, and also these altcoins.  Are in the top 10 highest coins in CMC, that's why these altcoins are very suitable to invest in,

OP just asks which Altcoins do you think are good to invest in this year, doesn't mean you have to invest in. I don't see that any of the altcoins you recommend have any good potential. I still believe more in the top 50 altcoins such as ethereum, binance and avalanche.

everything you list is a good investment except Tether, because in my opinion you will never get a profit from investing in Tether (Tether is a stable coin), so never invest in Tether if you want to make a profit from investing in cryptocurrency, but if you want to keep your money in cryptocurrency to remain stable, then of course Tether is the right choice for you to invest.

What happens when calling Tether a good investment???  Lol, they are too perfectionist in the crypto game even though it proves to be important.  I don't expect usdt to be stronger as US government is looking to increase the core value of USD.  Bitcoin, ETH, BNB are my interest.  Some challenges with 100x are also interesting in bullrun.

my folio composes of 2 rank 10 coins and 3 top 100 coins , sometimes i change them but this is my typical holding .

for me i must not put all in high ranking coins because of high capital but also the chances that sometimes they are being dumped like what happened in litecoin and  Neo in the past.

I couldn't pick 10 coins to invest for the rest of the year. I prefer to keep my portfolio smaller. I would hold major coins like XRP, BNB, TRX, ADA, SOL etc. but I would prefer to hold them for longer. Majority of my money would still be in Bitcoin.

I would say that stay away from XRP if you can, it is one of the most centralized currencies in the world, I rather use Dollar itself (the original american one not the usdt version) instead of XRP and would feel a lot more comfortable and I am a person who lives as fully crypto as possible, xrp is that bad, not in a investment way maybe it would profit you but at the end of the day I would not invest into something shady looking even if it means I could profit from it.

However all others are great, ADA, TRX, BNB, SOL these are all awesome coins, I would add ETH into that mixture as well instead of ETH and you would basically have my top portfolio anyway. I have some silly smaller investments and I also have bitcoin as my biggest portfolio piece but that's about it, I do not invest into anything else, and I am quite happy with the results so far.

I used to think like that too but now I see this centralization argument is overrated as hell. After all these years they are still at the top of the market. Even though it's not the best still it's one of the easiest coins to use. Transactions are almost free, very fast and have big adoption. I don't see any threats about XRP anymore, if I see I might switch it fast. Same for BNB as well, similar arguments around it but in the end still one of the most used for a reason.

Of the ten cryptos that you mentioned not all we can hold to invest because coins such as usdt we can not make an investment because we can say the coin is stable price so it is very good we use for exchanges, then in this case we need strong research so that we can get results in investing.

USDT isn't really ideal for investing because it is a stable coin but you see those platforms that are allowing you to stake USDT. Maybe some conservative people that's what they do.

I also like some exchange coins as volume goes up in bull market.

Although I don't invest much in exchanges coins but they have their own economy and use case which makes them sustainable and good to hold.
