I have a few friends who bet on basketball, mostly NBA, and they've an amazing track record of 55% winning parlays. I have probably 2 or 3% on football. They keep telling me that betting on basketball is easier but I still don't get why. Any clue? do you bet on that?

Best sports to bet on is the sports you understand so you can easily place your bet and you can execute your betting plans since you know the teams and you know every skills of the key player.

Well that's the beauty of sport, everyone have their own passion on the sport they prefer in life - even in a family circle.

In my college days, most of my friends love some sport that i hated most but that was their personal choices why myself love some sports. I could watch soccer from morning till night without getting tired but most of my friends can't spent few hours, but for others like porker they can, so, individual difference matters on the type of sport they have passion about. I don't bet on any sport aside the soccer football and my favorite clubs are in diffrent leagues.

There's no reason to bet high if he is winning consistently, maybe he is not really winning. All we hope as a gambler is to be consistent, and if we are consistent enough, then that's the time that we will be aggressive as we are confident that we can win. Time is important, we should make use of it together with our skills in gambling.

That’s the best way to see gambling, appreciate small wins and of course just enjoy gambling especially in sports betting since you don’t just bet, you also watch the sports you’re betting with. That 55% win rate would be impressive if the odds are close to even like 1.8 on average but if it's low odds like 1.5 or lower then yeah it's not that amazing and can sometimes become a bad strategy since you're forced to increase your bet size.

I remember doing a similar strategy where i've taken small odds somewhere between 1.1 to 1.3 it's not the best strategy because there's no value in those odds but it could work though.

But if we a highly successful boxer who is in great shape he normally tends to stay like that for several years. This is why I prefer to bet on the champion during a title. For me it's boxing and MMA I like action sports with a lot of contacts, it's a skill-based sport there's a lot of surprises and action like the recent MMA fights where Thug Rose an underdog beat the favorite Zhang, some matches are short but full of action, even if you lose the bet you get excited for watching those matches.

Yeah right, if a game is famous in your country you will definitely know them or each team in the long run. A very common games I've seen so far is basketball or football but some places they do have different famous games instead of the common one that we've seen.

It really depends actually on the bettor what kind of sports game they wanted to bet because not everyone has the same type of sports they preferred. Some may choose a game that you seldom saw or not in your list of type of sports. So I can't actually tell what is the best sports to bet.
