Binance smart chain has proven to be a good alternative to the ethereum Blockchain for new cryptocurrency projects that aim to enjoy the type of security the ethereum blockchain provides but also with a much faster network.

It is the time for altcoins and a new altcoin season that does not limit to only DeFi or NFT tokens. Projects that have capability to run on multiple chains get more interests from investors. I'm sure that is not, its better than Ethereum. We all knew that is only a fork of ethereum, But do not forget that has not only a fork and its different tech to ethereum., They are using nodes and, binance we also knew as partnered with elrond technology. If you know that tech, you will imagine and you can get what I mean, Its adjustable and expandable the limit of transaction, If they adjust the node or adding a nodes. the blockchain can decrease the fees unlike eth.

I think all coins have the potential to get to the number 2 position of CMC, as in the past XRP was replaced by Ethereum. Binance also has that opportunity. However, the current high adoption of Ethereum is making it difficult for Binance to replace Ethereum, even though Binance also has smart contracts as a pathway to pump BNB coins. We know how CZ plays in the crypto market. Binance is not the first crypto exchange. But right now Binance is already the first exchange that is most used by investors. For now I think BNB is still too early to replace ethereum, this is not in line with what is currently happening on coinmarketcap, it is almost certain that BNB will find it difficult to replace ethereum for this year.

However in the crypto world everything can happen and change, there is a possibility that BNB will replace ethereum in the future, but for the next two years, it will be a tough job for BNB to do that.

Binance is doing great and they are for me starting out to the road to greatness and they will soon occupy the second spot in the market, I don't want to call Binance the next Ethereum, they deserve to be called the first Binance because there's a big possibility that they are going to eclipse Ethereum on what they brought to the community, and it's only a matter of time.

I think it's too early to say that Binance Smart Chain is the "New Ethereum", because it's in a BSC trend, but Ethereum is also setting a very good record. Even with the arrival of Eth02, Ethereum enthusiasts are increasing.

I feel like people raising this type of questions are stuck in the past with their whole life. They hold an iPhone in their hands, look at it and think: "wow, this is the new Nokia". What the hell is wrong? BSC is a chain operated in a quasi centralized way by Binance while Ethereum is a publicly funded chain that prioritizes decentralization over anything else while trying to come up with innovative solutions to increase transaction capacity and reduce costs.
