There is no new ethereum as binance.The binance chain has remained its own chain and not  a competitor with ethereum, they stand alone on their own chains although they deployed the same EVM algorithms but i don't see no reason why they should be in any form of comaprism.

Binance Smart Chain is Binance Smart Chain and it will remain that way. They look similar to regular users but the two are different so I would never say it is the new Ethereum.

It will never be Ethereum if you just take a look at the number of nodes running each chain. BSC has a maximum of 21 validator nodes which they rotate while anyone can join Ethereum anytime.

It already exceeded Ethereum in some aspects like number of daily transactions.

It seems so if you combine the BNB tokenomics and BSC ecosystem. It's probably still undervalued.

it is too early to say that, just a few hours ago there was a backlog in Bsc network. it means it still has the same issue with its scaling ability, I highly doubt Bnb will replace Eth considering this problem.
still waiting the update on Eth 2.0, can it solve the scaling and high fee issue? we can make a conclusion after we see the upgrade, if it does more good then Eth will remain the same but if it does not then we can consider it again.

It could be true. Binance is fully ethereum compliant blockchain and any feature that available on ethereum can also be implemented on the binance as well. I think binance is the new ethereum for now. It's not even too early to tell about that.
I think binance has a chance to replace ethereum but the gap between binance and ethereum on marketcap is too far. that will be quite difficult for BNB to surpass it.
Binance to tripled its price. BNB will get a small dump due to the people sell on the news but the binance price can sustain in the long run.

I think there are many projects changed their token blockchain from erc20 to bep20 already.
This is because the gas fee on ethereum blockchain, and for me, i don't want to spend high gas fee too.
So, BNB is not the new Ethereum, BNB is different than other Ethereum-like coins (coins with the same algo with ethereum) in cryptocurrency. You don't need asic to mine BNB, validators only need BNB coin to get the reward.

Its the actual ethereum killer, almost every new projects wants to create their project on BSC because the fee on BSC is cheap while on ETH it is insane so why not. Binance Smart Chain is a short term solution for long term problem of Ethereum which is scalability and high fees problem.
The network will succeed in solving this problem in the short term and it may be an attractive for projects but it is as thin as hardforks. a patch solutions will fail when Ethereum network becomes cheaper and faster.

It's not about blindly adding BSC asset into the another exchange site. It will never happen.

I second that as well, Binance Smart Chain is prolly doing very well on the altcoin network with it's pretty low fees, but I think it's only consistency that can make it as good as ethereum in the long run, and at the moment, the whole 'next ethereum thing' with BSC is coming a bit too early; ethereum has a couple of issues they have to address, high fees being one of them, and I expect the eth team to work on all their flaws, and another thing is, investors choose ETH to other altcoins cause it's sufficient and adequate for long time ROI; that's prolly why no coin is yet to be 'the next ethereum'.

Binance and BNB will likely do well if it can continue to successfully avoid regulation. Right now it's been pumping due to a recent token burn and high Ethereum gas fees. Ethereum is upgrading several times this year to reduce gas fees, so there will be less of an incentive to use BSC. The question is, how much TVL can BSC achieve before Ethereum scales. Personally, I am using multiple chains Ethereum and Ethereum tokens. 0xMR for example exists on seven blockchains, including BSC, so I can use Ethereum dapps or BSC dapps as I choose. I'm finding better returns with Defi on BSC but the risk of exit scams is higher.

Nah it can't although PoS that ETH gonna be switching to is said to be not as secured as PoW which ETH currently has it's still far secure compared to a blockchain that has limited running node as validator and totally controlled by the company behind that chain.
I know many people gonna say that Binance is too big to exit scam but by having to control the set of validators it gives them power to manipulate the blockchain as well in my opinion and that doesn't seem to be good if any projects trying to create their token on top of that platform.
The centralization of validator could make transaction fast and cheap indeed but using BSC only as good as sending money or swap platforms.

I agree with you and I think that if the team and the creator of Ethereum want to keep the second place in importance of the coin in the crypto market, they should hurry up and eliminate the disadvantages of Ethereum.

Their values right now are so far away from ethereum but you can never know if it can reach that price as well. The demand is high right now and the listed coins above can be your next jackpot. We will never know but that's just the market. What if a big influencer like Elon Musk starts hyping another coin? What would you think the next "DOGE" would be?

IMHO, I don't think BSC will become a new Ethereum that's because BSC is just an alternative or an option to use right now due to the expensive transaction fees of the Ethereum Network, and that's a reality nowadays, and if the Ethereum gas problem will be solved I'm sure many platforms will go back to Ethereum Network as their prime Network. Binance Smart Chain has its own characteristics and purposes that's why let us stop comparing BSC to Ethereum because it was different while about the price I think BNB was still undervalued right now so I expect the price to reach $800-$1000 in the near future.

it looks like they take attention from the fees given the same as erc20, bsc or bep20 networks have the same thing and there is almost no difference at all but the erc fees are too high while bep is already using the postal network and the fees are not expensive, that is why the bnb has increased which is very high and is just below ETH right now.

BNB is eating ethereum market share. BSC just took the initiative of the problem of ethereum network of high gas fees and offer a new project with a better solution with their new BSC chain which costs very low gas fees compare to ethereum. At the same time price of BNB is rallying up and made more than double its previous price. Ethereum just got a hard competitor.

It is really useless to compare the ethereum network with others at a time when ethereum is fully renewed. I don't see any point in this. All the same, these estimates will lose their significance in the near future, as the actual data will continue to change. When ethereum finishes updating, then we will compare. I would say never say never in crypto. I do agree that ETH is just much bigger, think about it even with the huge fee's right now ETH is still getting more attention and much higher in price as well, and that is with like x100+ more fee paid for using it. However I would also say that BNB could go over ETH in marketcap as well, why? Because I remember when Namecoin was the second ranked coin in the world, then I remember Litecoin became the second, then I remember XRP became second, now it is ETH that is second.

Over time most of the second ranked ones go lower, that means there is a chance ETH could as well, it is much better than the other ones I listed obviously, but they were the best of their time as well, then something better came along and the second one dropped. BSC is a good competitor of ETH. But it is too early to say that it is the "New ETH". Developers as well as traders are going to BSC network because of the economical fees that it is offering. However, once ETH resolved their gas efficiency problem, some will go back to eth network. However, we can't deny the fact that there is advantage of BSC network these days. To avoid paying ridiculous fees, they offer cheap fees for traders. But some are sticking to ETH because of its decentralized nature. High fees is what's "killing" Ethereum these days. Developers better roll new network upgrades to address this issue as soon as possible before an alternative smart contract platform replaces Ethereum. Binance Coin is now the third-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, so it has a higher probability of "flippening" Ethereum than any other coin on the market. Everything will depend on mainstream adoption above anything else. The longer it takes for ETH to scale, the higher BNB will rise to glory.

Binance Smart Chain is a short term solution for long term problem of Ethereum which is scalability and high fees problem.

I didn't know much about BSC until recently. From what I can see BSC can do everything that ETH can do and it is much faster and cheaper. It might be more centralized but for many things they are doing decentralization is not the most important thing. NFT's don't need any decentralization whatsoever. DeFi on ethereum is already somewhat centralized anyways because most nodes are running on cloud servers. BSC has managed to get so many projects built on their ecosystem in a short amount of time. At the rate it is growing it wouldn't surprise me if they flipped ethereum someday.

BSC has two potentia issues - centralization and capacity. Binance is trying to centralize it but it is still a chain controlled by one entity. While most people don't care, once Ethereum solves its gas issues it will leave BSC behind. There is no new ethereum as binance.The binance chain has remained its own chain and not  a competitor with ethereum, they stand alone on their own chains although they deployed the same EVM algorithms but i don't see no reason why they should be in any form of comaprism.

Indeed, the Binance Smart Chain is showing excellent growth right now and the demand for using this network is growing. However, it is too early to say that Binance Smart Chain could become the new Ethereum. If you compare the two platforms, Ethereum is decentralized and Binance is centralized. The price of cryptocurrencies has a big price difference in favor of Ethereum. As much as I liked the Binance Smart Chain, they can’t be the “new” or “next” Ethereum. No one can replace Ethereum despite that we are so sick and tired of these exorbitant gas fees. As for Binance Smart Chain, fees are very low but centralized in which there’s a chance that our tokens can be locked up for good.

And I have a feeling that Eth 2.0 will be coming soon as they are transitioning from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake. With this one, Ethereum would be unstoppable!

Technically speaking, Binance Smart Chain is superior than Ethereum. Yet, it's heavily centralized manipulated by a single entity. Nodes on BSC are much more limited than those on the ETH blockchain. The ever-rising gas fees on the ETH blockchain has forced many people to look for other alternatives on the market. for this year's bull momentum, BNB and BSC are indeed the winners. while ethereum was abandoned by their old projects who migrated to BSC. and the adoption of new projects is also more BSC.

Agree, manytimes i interact with Dex on BSC Platform and its not an easy things to do and not a smooth fast transaction, my experience when using EOS is better.

EOS is better than ethereum platform on various aspects, but it is outlined as a centralized model. This is the major reason that it hasn't gained more importance. Maybe with time things can change. Same thought a few months ago, but right now I think the success of BSC mainly comes from good marketing and good community relations kept by CZ, as the Binance Smart Chain is more kinda like a community chain rather than an official chain for Binance. Indeed there are lots of good projects on BSC, and the whole ecosystem maintained great, and there would be potential benefits for projects to launch on BSC : the lower gas fee and the potential to be listed on one of the mega centralized exchange: Binance. However, the main tech-iteration comes from Ethereum, comes from Vitalik and the Geek community, and BSC acts more like a side chain for Ethereum, combining the benefits for both centralized and decentralized world. So if there's one proper way to define BSC, I think it would be a transition from Ethereum 1.0 to Ethereum 2.0 or Layer 2 solution, rather than becoming the "New Ethereum". I always liked how people operate with old facts without even checking them, when claiming that BSC network is cheaper than Ethereum. When was the last time these people have checked Ethereum and BSC transaction fees? I totally agree with what you said.  To say BNB is equivalent to ETH.  Maybe now is not the right time to say BNB is equivalent to ETH.  But over time BNB will compete with ETH if the ETH Fee is not reduced.  Because currently BNB is growing rapidly because the fee is cheaper and the process is fast.  If ETH is able to change the fee cheaper than the transaction process, then BNB will be far behind compared to ETH.

I strongly agree with your point, it is not necessary to make too many comparisons of the top platform coins. The things that many people say to compare the difference between them honestly, I don't understand what their thoughts and desires are for this market.

I think so, Binance is the next Ethereum. Lets see back price of ETH for about 6 years since created on 2015 until now, and let see too price of BNB that started traded on 2017. Since you have mentioned that I would like to think that these two coins are like the analogy of a car company. It's too early to tell but I like using it since I start investing in DEX they are very cheap fast and you can even create a bridge on your Ethereum, I don't like to call it a new Ethereum, it should create a name for itself and not follow Ethereum because they are the nearest competitor of Ethereum.

BSC is extremely popular because of the low fees and blazing-fast transaction speeds. This makes Binance Smart Chain the ideal Ethereum alternative. Of course, the platform is utterly centralized. But most people don't care as long as they're able to fill their pockets with money in the least time possible. With useless coins like SHIBA and Safemoon gaining traction on BSC, anything can be expected. I'm surprised how fast BNB went all the way to the moon compared to other cryptocurrencies on the market. Binance Coin is now the third-largest cryptocurrency by market cap next to Ethereum. It may never replace ETH, but it could retain its position on the market as people use it more thoroughly in the mainstream world.

BSC is by far more centralized, but in terms of its efficiency it is obviously helpful. That has always been the issue Vitalik pointed out. If you want an extremely secure network, it must be as decentralized as possible. If you want speed, go for a more centralized network. Ethereum is just built differently and I hope they can find a sweet spot between decentralization and security such that it is not a pain in the ass anymore to use the network.

I don't think the size is related to the price. BSC is integrated with BNB. it is only related to the use of the blockchain network.
BSC is indeed more popular because it can take the momentum from what is happening on ethereum. The increase in ethereum transaction fees made BSC successful in gaining strong adoption with the support of pancake exchanges.
In the past, BNB also developed a BEP-2 product with Binance DEX support, but I don't think it can take the momentum from ethereum.

I like that about Vitalik. He isn't a hater of Binance Smart Chain or any other project, but he has a vision that is all about decentralization and he doesn't sacrifice Ethereum's vision for short term gains. Binance is starting to see some regulation issues and I imagine that will only continue to get worse.  While this might have an effect on demand for BNB, the demand that is created by Binance for BNB is something that isn't present in the Ethereum space.  For that reason, I could see why from an investment perspective BNB would outperform ETH, but you also have to remember that BNB might have more real demand, lower fees, a better user experience, and a massive company behind it; it still is a centralized plaything and not Ethereum or Bitcoin.  Luckily, during times of bubbles the money that's being poured in is clueless to these sorts of things, so buying BNB would seemingly be a nice trade to make here.  It also can be staked currently for about 3x the return of ETH, which is another potential draw for fresh money.

It was a solution when the days of Ethereum got high fees but I think that with the upgrades that have been done with the network of Ethereum, it has lessen the fees but people can't get over it as they still consider the fees too high.
But is 5 gwei still that much for them? sometimes I see it fluctuate from 5 to 41 gwei and despite that increase, I think that's still quite a discount for fees. I don't do that much transaction on BSC though.

It is just BSC and ETH is ETH. What I ask myself is what is the legal situation like for BSC? I know they claim that nothing could really happen since they have a diverse set of validators, but is that true? Are those validators known? Indeed, blockchain-based games have potential if developed by developers who are really serious about working on them. but, what is worrying is, the team only developed the project to follow the hype, but in the end the project has no certainty. This is something the community must pay attention to. Whether in ETH, BSC, Polygon or others, in the future, NFT or non-NFT based games will eventually not get community support so this becomes a dominant innovation controlled by projects that already have a lot of support, for example, Cryptokitty, Axie, Fara. BSc created with defi in mind or massive token creation, eth was like a prototype chain for smart contract at the beginning and that's why eth just feels lacking compared to BSc in scalability. But eth is growing day by day and there's upgrade every time to make it not obsolete. I think eth will become hugely scalable as well in the future but I don't know whether eth can contain many transactions like other block chain that made specifically for nft based game's.

I would not say it is the new Ethereum. The question is like asking "is Ferrari the new Jeep?". For now it seems BSC is the better choice as there are no obstacles, no issues arise and Ferrari does just fine. But what if we get into shallow waters or hilly areas, would you want a Ferrari or a Jeep? The financial crisis gave reason for Bitcoin to emerge at the right time in the right environment. People started understanding why Bitcoin does make sense. Now they slowly but surely tend towards using more centralized architectures again. But only until the next lesson happens. BSC use cases are very limited right now and only attaining to idiotic projects and tokens. I personally feel it could be a good alternative to Ethereum-like blockchains but it needs to get battle tested with much more important use cases like trade finance, cross border payments with smart contracts clauses etc. It's good if you want to launch your own token and project but apart from that I don't see a real value.

I like Binance Smart chain because smart contract compatible with EVM, After seeing some new project developments on the BSC network, I don't think BSC will be the next Ethereum because ethereum is still ethereum and Bsc is a good solution with transaction fees and technology that supports EVM.

I can't predict whether Binance Smart Chain is the new Ethereum, as Ethereum still holds its place in the coin market, but Binance Smart Chain will probably continue with transaction fees and other benefits. in real use cases ETH and BNB are both strong have platforms and large communities. but in terms of transactions, BNB has very low fees compared to ETH.

Now many new projects want to work on the bnb network, since the commissions and speed are really better in many aspects. The eth network will still be in demand since many tokens work on this network, time will tell who will be more popular, I think another year or two and it will be possible to draw final conclusions.

I think it doesn't need a year or two to draw conclusion, the condition will probably be the same like now, BNB isn't having intention to overtake eth in my opinion, while eth also fixing its problem slowly. people free to choose one of them but theyre not limited to only one of them. maybe in the future projects will be available in both eth and bnb too, everything is possible. but maybe nft will still mostly in bsc.

It is the time for altcoins and a new altcoin season that does not limit to only DeFi or NFT tokens. Projects that have capability to run on multiple chains get more interests from investors. We all knew that is only a fork of ethereum, But do not forget that has not only a fork and its different tech to ethereum., They are using nodes and, binance we also knew as partnered with elrond technology. If you know that tech, you will imagine and you can get what I mean, Its adjustable and expandable the limit of transaction, If they adjust the node or adding a nodes. the blockchain can decrease the fees unlike eth.

I think all coins have the potential to get to the number 2 position of CMC, as in the past XRP was replaced by Ethereum. Binance also has that opportunity. However, the current high adoption of Ethereum is making it difficult for Binance to replace Ethereum, even though Binance also has smart contracts as a pathway to pump BNB coins. We know how CZ plays in the crypto market. Binance is not the first crypto exchange. But right now Binance is already the first exchange that is most used by investors. For now I think BNB is still too early to replace ethereum, this is not in line with what is currently happening on coinmarketcap, it is almost certain that BNB will find it difficult to replace ethereum for this year.

However in the crypto world everything can happen and change, there is a possibility that BNB will replace ethereum in the future, but for the next two years, it will be a tough job for BNB to do that.

People was known BSC as an Copycat for Ethereum with same use case and basically same everything the only things that make it different was Centralized Validator Set (For Now (?)) and not majority knowing this especially newcomers, It's normal to see this question since the people was only understand the concept behind it but not really understand what make it's different, Even though it's centralized as you can see it's was really having good performance lately to become Ethereum "Alternative" or maybe the "New" Ethereum in the future, Well let see what will happens.

personally i am agree binance smart chain as new ethereum, it have same or even better feature in network scalability and transaction fee. BSC on chain daily transaction now beat ethereum on chain daiky transaction , and i think its good indicator to say BSC as new ethereum. alot new project now use this platform and effected to bnb demand.
