This platform is the need of an hour. So many times I have missed the good project because they have already got funds during presale.
It is no secret that early investors gets most profit rather than people who buy on exchange.
I am sure whalemaker will help individual small investors like me and we will also have opportunity to invest in some good projects during early stage.

if they are going to collect some important details from the project owners who will apply on their platform, i believe it is only fair that they will also publish their team members on this project.
also, for added credibility of the platform itself. how can investors trust their money to anonymous platform? i know a lot of projects can pull it off without revealing themselves. but this is a fundraising platform. people will confidently send their money if they know who is/are behind the project.

In regards to your 1st and 2nd page of lightpaper (or was it onepager-divided-into-six? It's very short and not detailed), I'd like to point out that the barrier to entry of token early sale were not just the high minimum contribution or the composition of holders-and-short-term-traders. If any ICO projects from the past 4 years ever taught anyone, there is a huge risk of rugpull and scam projects, which lead to to an opinion that a project that's already --borrowing your words-- "months after an exchange listing" is safer, because reputable exchanges filter outs low quality projects, which usually has tendency to exit-scam. With this said, I didn's see any point covering this on the proposal of your project. I assume your project didn't propose any feature to fight this known issue? If so, then what's so different between you and other existing crowdfunding platforms?

I agree with you here. There is someone taking care already about the bounty. They should be more active here as it is their official thread, where interested users are asking some vital questions like this.

This is a very bad excuse for a project that wants to be known and attract as many people as possible. What's the point to open an ANN thread if "you" are not willing to interact and answer to anyone who shows interest? Plus that I don't see any connection between managing bounties and replying here.
Sorry to say it but for me (and I'm sure to others as well) an inactive thread from the team, isn't a project that will look or involve more.

It looks like they are more focused on advertising and bounties than answering the question here. I don't know if they have social media manager or not. Still, they should have a representative here to answer some of our questions regarding their project as it looks more suspicious if they have not one representative here.

I visited their bounty and gave them a thorough look, apparently Royse777 was just posting on their behalf, he did not hired to manage the campaign. I also took a deeper look on their telegram channel, they have three members labeled as CM, community manager, I am sure three should be more than enough to handle their only two media --telegram and this thread-- so I can't help but thinking that their silence is perhaps intentional.

First off, thanks for checking out the ANN thread here for Whalemaker. 

I can see that there have been questions, and ambiguity surrounding the lack of communication on BCT.

So let me be entirely transparent.

Frankly, I will say that there's nothing that's "intentional" or purposefully hidden to the public. There's always that "what if" in terms of a project's legitimacy. I get it, and I've been there in your shoes.

So here's some clarity:

• Originally, we intended to have a designated team member (for communications), responsible for handling all BCT discussions going forward. Before we were able to continue the task assignment, he was impacted by a serious COVID situation. Out of respect, I won't go into full details. Therefore, that gap in communication here is a direct result.
• We are in the middle of transitioning our team. Along with expansion. This will include all continued discussions here on BCT and other channels. So any updates from us will be posted accordingly with relevant questions addressed.
• There are absolutely ZERO intentions of rug pulls or any other shenanigans. Just the opposite. It is a problem we hope to solve with our platform. All of us on the core team, are quite forward-thinking in terms of making WhaleMaker a success for the long run. No short-term gains. No Pump and dump mindset here. No nonsense.
• Our core team members are busy developing our product, and most of us hard at work discussing potential partnership relations on this project.

Our MVP will be revealed soon, and we're quite proud of what we are hoping to achieve.

Overall, our apologies for the delay in communication. Nonetheless, I hope this answers some of the concerns and brings about confidence to the BCT community here going forward.

Thanks for the questions.  

Team will be updated as appropriate. I will say that our tech stack is our strongest core competency as our co-founder has operated a blockchain tech company since 2015. We're solid on that front alone.

Our project will be onboarding crypto startups launching on other networks outside of Ethereum.

Say, a crypto project is looking to launch on BSC or ETH network. We are agnostic, in the sense that we'll incubate projects regardless with a special focus on BSC and the Ethereum network.

In terms of partnerships, we're currently in discussions to build those out, some being core to our own launch and upcoming startups who come through our platform as our unique value add.

Appreciate the thoughts.

This is a good question and the team will likely be announced when it's ready.

However to be fair, there are many current launchpads that are anonymous simply because of predictably, regulatory environments or the decentralized structure that's in place.

I do certainly understand the concern there in regards to the anonymous vs public debate. That said, we'll do our best to give you the most relevant details here as the project continue. So I do hope you can stick around.

Our tier system will be used to access different investment/allocation amounts for public sale deals coming through our platform and staking opportunities.

In addition, tokens will be used for internal benefits both by investors + startups within our ecosystem that will be revealed at a later date.

You missed my question, or perhaps it is better if I say you missed the point of my question. What I asked was, given we can roughly say your service is an ICO platform, there are a lot of similar platforms already circling around, and most didn't safeguard the buyers against projects that do rugpull. Unfortunately, neither did i find any of your feature that attempting to fight against this known issue. So what's improvement that you purpose that differentiate you from others?
