Hello,  I did a transaction to binance address with low fee with my ledger wallet.

Transaction ID : d1dcd28d82bf04258fffc72c433e7c7f959072c39d74ee8cb355d36a1953ecf7

in this transaction, PRIVACY ANALYSIS has Unnecessary input heuristic➚ , I read the description of this but how exactly does it affect my transaction. How much time is normal to take that kind of transaction? Until now is over 24 hours !!!

It doesn't. It basically just gives you a very vague privacy analysis which isn't that useful and is completely independent of the time that it'll take for your transaction to get a confirmation.

You've paid a fairly high fee but unfortunately, there are more transactions which pays a higher fee than you. Refer to this site: https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC,24h,weight. When the total size of transactions above 120sats/vbyte is below 1vMB, you'll have a chance at getting a confirmation.

I honestly think that the privacy analysis doesn't do much for anyone to call it "truly worth it" just like the other guy mentioned. What you can do though is to learn from this experience and do transactions way ahead of time before the actual moment of need so you can just sit back and avoid the stress of thinking about how long the transaction will finish. Another thing you can do if the need arises suddenly because of an emergency, is to be willing to pay higher fees so that you can be at ease knowing that the transaction you made will be done in just a few moments because of the high fees you paid.

in this transaction, PRIVACY ANALYSIS has Unnecessary input heuristic➚
It says unnecessary input because you are using three inputs when you only needed to use two. You were sending 0.19363600 BTC to Binance and paying a fee of 0.00032994 BTC for a total of 0.19396594, meaning the combination of your two inputs of 0.10932918 BTC and 0.08616100 BTC for a total of 0.19549018 would have covered this transaction with 0.00152424 BTC as change. You instead included a third input for 0.06140000 BTC, which was technically unnecessary, but may have been desirable to avoid creating a smaller value change output.

Hash power has dropped recently, meaning we are currently around 60 blocks behind where we "should be", so the mempool is filling up pretty rapidly. Your transaction is RBF enabled and you have plenty of funds in that extra input you included, so if you wanted to you could replace the transaction with a higher fee one to get confirmed quickly. You would probably need to aim for around 200 sats/vbyte at current prices.

Don't be too bothered with the privacy score given by blockchair.com. I was too very cautious to try to raise my chances to increase this rating in my (few) transactions, but then I posted my question regarding how could I achieve higher levels of privacy scores such as the ones that Foxpup achieves on his/her transactions, and I was given this clear answer from LoyceV:
How does such a high level of privacy-o-meter score is achieved in every transaction made by Foxpup?
If anything, it shows Blockchair's Privacy-o-meter doesn't mean a thing! A weekly payment at the exact same time to the exact same (vanity) address shouldn't get a 95% privacy score.

Regarding your transaction, as ranochigo pointed out there are more transactions atm paying a higher fee than yours according to the graphic presented over at jochen-hoenicke. Eventually I believe that in 1-2 days you'll get it processed but I've noticed that you have RBF enabled on the transaction itself so if you're really in a hurry you can replace the transaction with another one (increasing it's fee) and you'll get it in the receiving address.

You're not able to use RBF by using the Ledger Live since it's not implemented (and I honestly don't know if they're planning on implementing it or not). What you can do, however, is using Electrum alongside your hardware wallet (in this case your Ledger device) and then you'll be able to RBF via Electrum.

You can check the the following link in order to connect your Ledger device with Electrum - https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005161925-Set-up-and-use-Electrum

Assuming you did the right thing I believe your transactions would show up in the wallet including the one that's being processed (I'm still unsure if this will indeed happen, perhaps other members more experienced will know for sure). If the transaction does indeed happen then all you need is to increase it's fee and you can do that by following the same steps that this tutorial demonstrates.

EDIT: While looking for your problem I've found this comment from Ledger Co-Funder over at Reddit that said the following (3 years ago):
Quote
RBF is not supported by the current Chrome app - it'll be with the next generation of our apps or you can use it right now with Electrum or GreenAddress/GreenBits
Also, albeit the Coin Control feature supposedly gives you more control over your coins, here's a caveat :
Quote
Allow the transaction to be replaced (Replace-By-Fee): By default, this option is enabled. Replacing transactions allows you to increase the network fees to accelerate a transaction that has not been confirmed yet. Transactions cannot be replaced in Ledger Live yet, so please use another wallet if you need to do so.

You are correct - although Ledger Live flags the transaction as opted-in to RBF, it does not actually have the functionality to a create and broadcast a replacement transaction.

If you want to use RBF on this transaction, you will need to do so via Electrum. First you'll need to download Electrum from the first link (1) at the bottom of the post, and then follow the instructions in the second link (2) to verify your download. Once you've done that, you'll need to pair your Ledger hardware wallet with your Electrum software by following the steps in the third link (3). Once Electrum has synced your balances and transactions, you can simply right click on the transaction in question and select "Increase fee", and follow the steps on screen to boost the fee.

According to https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC,2h,weight
Your transaction seems to be taking a lot of time until it settles down from the 170-200 SATs/vbyte range till your 60 SATs/vbyte area. Why don't you ask some transaction accelerating people here? They might help you out in your case to get your transaction go through a bit quick. Anyways, I've also accelerated it my way and hope that it gets through fast.

I second this, I accelerated a transaction with < 45 SATs/vbyte the other day using viabtc's accelerator. It was stuck for nearly a day and I kept nervously checking the mempool but it got confirmed pretty quick after submitting it to the accelerator.

Here's a list of a few (free) accelerators you can submit to:

It's nice to know that you've got your issue sorted out dude! Would you kindly add [Solved] to your thread title so that members can know that the issue has been dealt with?
Next time I highly advice you to look up "mempool" traffic so that you're able to adapt your fee to your needs Wink

Agreed. Don't just blindly accept the suggestion your wallet gives. Both Ledger and Electrum can give pretty poor estimates at times.

Probably the best site for estimating your own fee is this one: https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/. If you mouse over the very right hand side of the graph, you will see the size of all transactions at each fee band. Bearing in mind that each block will take 1 vMB of transactions off the top and blocks come on average every 10 minutes, then you can see if the mempool is filling or emptying and gauge where you want to place your transaction.

If you find that all a bit too complicated, then the next best option is here: https://mempool.space/. Simply pick their low/medium/high priority fee as appropriate.

It's happened to me once when I used Electrum for the first time so I'm aware what you mean. I'm happy your transaction went through fast after increasing the fee.

People new to Bitcoin probably won't be aware using low transaction fees can keep payments pending in mempool for days showing 0 confirmations. It's frustrating when that happens when we're trying to avoid high transaction fees but at least there's a chance to increase the fee if you want to speed up confirmations, you just need to increase the default transaction fee setting before you send payment.

Thank you to everyone, the easiest way was with electrum. I increased the fee very easy and the transaction was confirmed for 3 min.
