People are wishing for example bitcoin to go down so they can buy, so once it goes down, they are still confused on what to do. You don't really know what people want these days. Because newbies also wanted to see their portfolio grows, that's why they always wanted to see a good pump and a parabolic rise. most of the beginners do not have good psychology in dealing with the ups and downs of market prices, they also may not have much experience so they will rush to sell the assets they have when the price starts to fall and experience losses and lose their assets.
so in my opinion  honed prior to plunging into the world of cryptocurrencies is knowledge, experience, and psychology. 
When these three things are well honed they will be calmer when faced with an aggressive market.

i am amazed seriously when many people complain of dips as if they never knew it would come, what i ask is that do you just want the market to keep going up like that? of course its risky if it does. the market is just like a train that has many detsinations, every stopage is a dip and an entry point for new people. its better to have a better perspective of the market behaviour so you wont be moved by dips when it comes but use it to your advantage.

Agree but there are lots of people in crypto who are still using the downtrend as an opportunity to sell their portfolios at loss. I can't even believe if all of the people in crypto have a very good mentality when they are facing the bearish market like this time. So many people were feeling panic when the bitcoin gets dumped so hard and more than 10 billion got liquidated in the market.
That's the craziest dump that i have ever seen in crypto.

Dips are part of the market, I have not seen any coin/token that did not experience dips, if you are trading you should look at the dip in a positive way, it's an opportunity to buy at a much lower price for a future profit, there's a big difference between dips and crash and it's very important that you know how to differentiate between the two, dips are opportunity opened, a crash is loss of confidence on a coin.

Its hard for the newbies to appreciate the dip as there are so many fuds that crypto and bitcoin will go to zero. Most newbie investors  who are new in crypto selling their holding because of the fear of losing money. Those who are experienced know that these dips are temporary and are also necessary for the growth of the market.

I wish that it has to happen just to catch up for the next ATH but we can't also please the market to give that to us.
But we can't stop other people to think badly and desperate seeing the correction especially when they are investing during the hypes, it sure that they will get into a panic.

I was in the kind of thinking before but I realize that was wrong, it is a need for us to get strong and tried to adjust ourselves. Dump and pumps have always around, and can't change it no matter what we do.

IMO, there will be no pump and dump that can last forever. The climate in the crypto market is always getting changed so many times.

People need the time to learn if the dip will become the best time to invest in crypto.
That being said if the dip is the correct time to enter the market but people don't care about this. they think when the market was dipping and it can go down even further than before.

I love dips it opens up an opportunity to buy at a price that will give you an opportunity for future profit, some of the profits I gained from trading come from dips, we should look at it in positive ways, when I have the funds to invest I always wait for my favorite coin to invest for a dip, sometimes I get lucky timing is really important, there are dips that takes to long to recover but every dip is worth it.

Dip is like a chance for people to buy and many people actually keep saying to buy when everyone's is afraid but not many people could just do that and most of them got scared shitless first even before making decision to buy and yeah people are in general too afraid of dip although the coin is still above of last year's ATH.

Yeah! people who wanted to invest have given a chance to buy in this golden opportunity but the price is still high and there are people who are waiting to buy when the price is low enough for a big investment. The OP is right because this kind of dip might not gonna happen after this one gonna rise up again. But you guys really need to choose the right coins to invest your money with because not all coins will gonna raise again after this. Yeah. This kind of dip is a death trap of exchange for leverage traders. This price action surely liquidated tons of money from leverage traders that using high leverage. This scenario is very unusual to crypto and it really deserve an investigation. Every time Bitcoin make a historical price movement. A sudden pump and dump always occur when sideways starts to form.

No need to panic if seeing a big Dip because it just normal having it. The cycle of the market may sometimes goes up and goes down.
