I am trying to disable 2fa but it is useless my wallet is still 2fa.

What I do is ...

-FILE
-NEW / RESTORE
-I choose: Standard wallet
-I choose I already have a seed
-I choose: Disable 2fa

Is it a bug or do I need to do it another way?

I have tried 3 times and the "[2fa]" is automatic on restore even choosing to disable it.

my version is Electrum 4.1.2

the wallet is still going to show as a 2fa wallet but no 2fa code needs to be entered when spending bitcoin so 2fa has been disabled.

Thanks for your answer.

My intention is to disable 2fa to avoid high commissions for this.

I want to convert my 2fa wallet to standard. Is there a way to do it?

No, you need to create a new wallet. Keep in mind that transactions sent from your current (multi-signature) wallet will be more expensive than as if you were using a standard wallet. You should move your funds once the transaction fees go down to a reasonable level.

Thanks for your answer. I understand clearly.

Lastly, you can give me some advice on when to transfer all my funds to a new standard wallet. Where can I see that the fees have down?

This website should give you a rough idea what's currently going on with the mempool. As for how you can use it:

There is a great guide on how to understand and interpret the graphs on 1miau's post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5182906.0 (scroll down to item 5).

Note that both Electrum and that website use "sat/vbyte" now even though Electrum displays "sat/byte".

Now is a very bad time. The mempool is backed up and fees are high, and your fees will be even higher since you are spending from a disabled 2FA wallet since it uses multi-sig. I would sit tight for the time being and keep an eye on the mempool for when it starts to empty out significantly, which will likely take a couple of weeks.

Alternatively, if you have to make a transaction now (as a payment to someone else, for example), then you could redirect any change from that transaction to an address in your new non-2FA wallet. Doing so would not incur any additional fee than if the change had just been returned to the old 2FA wallet. To do this in Electrum, you would need to click on Tools -> Pay to many, and then in the "Pay to" box you would enter your payment address followed by a comma and the amount to pay, and then in a new line you would enter an address from your new wallet followed by a comma and an exclamation point. The exclamation point in this case means "send all remaining funds". So your transaction might look like this:

Code:
1AddressYouArePaying, 0.01
bc1qAddressFromYourNewWallet, !
