I want to make a stand up board with my BTC address, but I need a high resolution QR code to do so. Where can I get one of these?

How high of a resolution?  Did you try googling "qr code generator" etc.?

Yes. I'd like 300 dpi. I'm not sure how to get Bitcoin payment qr codes from standard qr code generators. I also found this which is pretty cool: http://cryto.net/projects/bitcoin-poster/. For some reason I was thinking the code had to be big on the board, but I guess that isn't essential. I work a lot of gun shows and things, and I just think it would be cool to have a board on my table as both a conversation starter and way to receive payments.

I think you would just input the bitcoin address as the text to encode in the qrcode.

You're right. I thought I had tried it before and it didn't work. But I just did it with no problem. Also, I just created a new address to use with this and it starts out "1AoW." It's awesome, because I mention AOW's probably 40 times every gun show.

No. I do things like holsters and cleaning supplies.

This is what I ended up with:

I'm thinking I should put the address under the code. I can't wait to put this out on my table. There's a camera swap meet this Sunday which I'm trying to get a table at, hopefully I can use it there.

Yes. I am all for accepting Bitcoin. I've offered up my items for Bitcoin. Since I do distribution, if a business was looking to carry my stuff, it would start to bridge that gap in the Bitcoin economy's supply chain. Right now, most retailers have to buy their goods with some other currency. But if we can get more distributors on board with Bitcoin, we'd be that much better off.

Yeah, I'd add the address under the qrcode.  An props to you for helping bootstrap the bitcoin economy by why you're doing.
