When do you think COVID-19 will last? I made a little research because I am really tired OF COVID-19 that I want some basis on how could possibly COVID-19 will last? that I want everything back to normal.

More questions added while I am researching and making this topic.

1. Will people believe that COVID is not a joke? (Let us not fight if you who are reading this don't believe let's respect others opinion )

2. If people died more and more will people believe that pandemic is not made up by the Government? or people will just say "The Government killed them not the Pandemic COVID-19"

Lastly answering my question here is my point of view on how long COVID-19 will last.

2 years if people finally listen 1-year people start the following rule this Virus will stop spreading and another 1 year to clear things up by the Government and Scientist, clearing everything up that everything to know it is good that everything is back to normal.

As for how long the virus as such can last, it can stay with us forever.

What I guess is more interesting is when we will be able to go back to doing the life we did before without restrictions. Here I want to be optimistic and think that the restrictions may not last longer than a couple more years. In the previous big epidemics, when there were no vaccines or medicines as there are today, in about 3-4 years they went back to normal, although in those times it was because many people died and the rest developed herd immunity, but come on, I do not think this will last 10 more years, and I hope I am not wrong.

The virus will never go away and I don't think getting vaxxed is the answer. They need to come up with a very effective pill that kills the virus before people start showing symptoms and then we are good to go.

Difficult to say how many years it will stay, maybe let's have the mindset that it's here to stay.

If there's no 100% effective vaccine or any tablet or medicine, there's no way to eradicate it completely. Herd immunity is what the governments are coming up as the solution.

Let's see after all of these solutions being implemented because majority is in trial mode.

If certain people had their way I’m sure this would last forever. Masks would be the new normal and vaccine passports would be required to be in public. Everyone would need to get annual shots or possibly every six months in order to be a regular member of society. This is the reason people are assholes about wearing masks and refusing vaccines. It's really hard to follow guidelines when humans are meant to stick together, we are all family-oriented and there is no way that can stop it. The Chinese did it because their laws are truly authoritarian. It may really take more than 3-5 years before we could even find a real vaccine that can fight all the variations of the virus as it evolves faster. India's covid rise infection is surging and it looks like they are hit very hard.

What percentage of those vaccinated will die and how long will it take on average from the time they are vaccinated?

To me, it seems likely, given how widespread it is around the globe, and how easily it is transmitted (including asymptomatically), that it will not be eradicated entirely.
I believe that over time it will become an endemic virus, managed in a similar manner to flu, with periodic vaccines to counter troublesome new variants. Note that data so far suggest that current vaccines are effective at least to an extent against many variants... it's unlikely as far as I can see that we will ever return to pandemic status with this particular virus (in sufficiently vaccinated nations).

But certainly lockdowns and masks will go, these are purely temporary measures that are required until effective herd immunity is achieved in the population - which is the point of the vaccines. The two routes to herd immunity are a) take the vaccine, or b) become infected with the virus.

Infections, deaths and long-term health effects around the globe over the last year have been horrific. The unprecedentedly rapid vaccine development has saved countless lives, and is a huge success story. It offers a route out of this. Hopefully lessons will be learned, and we will be better prepared if there is a 'next time' with a new virus in the years to come.

I think that the epidemic will continue at least for the next five years, regardless of whether the epidemic was made by governments or not. There are many people who do not believe these things yet and they are dealing with hundreds of articles that tell that these are all lies, it does not matter if this epidemic was made by governments or not. And it's partly due to the fact that the world runs on money. Politicians rarely do what's best for the people, they do what's best for the money instead. Or what they think is best for the money. They didn't want to implement strict quarantining and lockdowns immediately, because it would hamper commerce. Instead they waited and hoped it would all go away. Of course it didn't go away, it spread, and by the time they reluctantly started shutting countries down, it was already far too late.

If politicians worked for the benefit of the people, I suspect the pandemic would have had much less of an effect.

With the present condition of the virus, am afraid it can last for 2 to 5 years if care is not taken. Even with the vaccines, we keep recording new cases everyday. If the proper drugs is not administrated, it will surely get more critical. We keep hearing rumours about people who died after having Vaccine shots, then how safe are we? I don't think the virus will just vanish. I think it will take enough time before it can be well controlled.
