There is a lot of differences between a coupe and an SUV. How big is your family? How many people will you on average have in the car? I would pick the size so that everybody is comfortable. And instead of buying a completely new car I would choose one which is 6-12 months old, they are like new but a bit cheaper.

You have a big budget maybe you can consider something good for the environment Green Vehicle like Kia Niro, Chevrolet Bolt EV, or even a Tesla.

The best coupe for under $ 50k, in my opinion, is the Lexus RC 300 F Sport. And as for SUVs, I would go for Mazda CX-5 Signature.

Like Nissan Z/skyline, Toyota supra/Gt86, Mazda, subaru
If I had a budget I would buy one of modifies japaniese cars, I love them a lot

I suggest you buy a hybrid. Its in the middle of electric and internal combustion engines and is eventually something happens you wont be hurt that much.Take germany for example , they are banning disel powered cars slowly and eventually they would die... And not to even mention you would save alot on gas money with a hybrid. Lexus Lh are good options and Toyota CHR as well
