If you really think its going to $5000 then there is a way you can easily make big money off it. Just go to Deribit and buy some puts. Currently you can buy a $12000 Put for only $150

So what that means is that if BTC is $5000 by the end of the year that put option would be worth $7000. So a small $150 investment would yield at least $7000. So if you are so convinced that it will hit $5000 this is a great way to put your money where your mouth is instead of creating FUD for no reason.

There are other funny FUD threads out there so I disagree with you that this is the funniest thread. I agree that bitcoin is strong and to be honest, it won't go down lower than 5k anytime soon because it will continue to get big in the long run and a lot of companies are hodling for the long term which means that the supply isn't going to go up any time soon.

I already sold my bitcoin, but not for all of my bitcoin because I still believe if bitcoin will increase higher sooner or later.
If the bitcoin price goes to $5k soon, I will be glad to buy back at that price because I have more money now, and I believe that I can buy 1 bitcoin directly

I agree that if we buy bitcoin for $100 now and hold it for 5 years later, we can see that value will increase but we also see that the value can get down temporary to adjust the price.

That is why it is better for us to take all the opportunities as much as we can. Bitcoin has a lot more room to grow in fact it is just starting, if you think it is too late to buy then imagine if became 6 digits soon. Though it doesn't matter when you will buy but do it early as possible for you to maximize your profit. And if you think you bought it at a higher price, you don't need actually panic and sell it when the bull cycle ends because it will once get it back on its feet and grow even further. You could also purchase when some corrections occurs though. Just do it now so you wouldn't regret it later.

I like the title says "fiat is the best alternative", that is really cool. Think about it, in his mind, fiat is the "alternative", and here I am thinking bitcoin was the alternative for fiat all along! . All jokes aside we all know bitcoin is not going to 5k, even if we have a huge crash the price is not going to 5k, its impossible.

However let me tell you the time I talked with an accountant who was great in finance game and made a lot of money from stock trading as well, he believed bitcoin will become zero and eventually everyone will get out. Why? Because he believed "it has no value, so it worths nothing" and as you can believe, just like every other old heads who believe that something needs to have a physical value behind it, something that supports that price, otherwise it means nothing. That was 5 years ago, we had 2 huge bull runs (one in 2017 and one this year) since he said that and we peaked at 64k, if he invested he could have made x100+ from bitcoin.

If you believe that will happen, you must prepare yourself by having fiat to buy bitcoin at that price because I do not think that bitcoin will be back to $5k soon. Even if that happens, I am sure people will buy back bitcoin in a large amount because they found the best time to have many bitcoin at the lowest price.
