It's in relation with the fact that Tesla did sell 10% of their bitcoins.
And about investing... you have to really DYOR for your money, people should not suggest what you should do. And if you want to hear speculations on the price, just look at the speculation subforum: some will show you how bitcoin can go to 100k and beyond, some will tell you that's going to fall. In fact, nobody knows what the future holds and that why nobody should tell you what you should do with your money.

Good to hear that Elon Musk took the initiative of clarifying this suggestion of him selling his Bitcoin during the ATH and that he is actually hodling for the long haul. Maybe it can be said that the Bitcoin community found a solid and very pro-active supporter in the person of this man. And though some might debate this: I think that the whole Bitcoin industry should be thanking the man for his strong belief in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Words are words as that and you can not trust his words if you can not verify it.

If you don't know where Elon and Tesla store their bitcoin (in whatever bitcoin wallets, addresses), you can not judge anything from his words. The saying from Elon Musk is matched with what he and Tesla emphasized when Bitcoin is adopted on Tesla as payment method to buy Tesla products. I can believe in their words somewhat, not completely.

Revolution for Bitcoin because of Tesla. No, I don't think it is the case for Bitcoin. Tesla is not the first and is neither the last nor biggest company have investments in and adoption for Bitcoin.

Wait I'm confused so personally he had some bitcoins, but he didn't sold.

On the contrary, his Tesla investment huge amount on bitcoin and sold to take profits?

Anyhow, I guess it doesn't matter, he still has his own investments and I'm sure that his company may have sold, but with the current dip, they could have re-investment millions again and probably will sell if we have a good all time high in the future.

Bitcoin could certainly go above 60,000$ for this confident statement from Elon Musk.  Elon Musk is a major investor in Bitcoin.  When its researvation comes to the bitcoin market, the market could change drastically.

So what:)

If he does not sell,,, fine, that means one of the biggest new whales of BTC is holding on for the long term. Good for us right?

If he did sell in fact and he was just lying to tell us he had not,,, then it is still good. Means more Bitcoin for other people to buy and less for a whale to manipulate.

I wonder which coins they sold, the ones acquired during the famous Elon Candlestck time or those that people used to purchase Teslas with? Because he stated that those coins used to buy Teslas with gonna be put on a long term HODL. He doesn't need to buy anymore Bitcoins if people are buying cards with their coins.

What does it mean? Will bitcoin reach 60k in this week. Please suggest me so I can invest.

Buy Dogecoin or Bitcoin and just wait. Second best investment advice ever. Hold Bitcoin and forget about it for 3-6 months. Or Hold Dogecoin, check its price from time to time and as soon as price makes +50% increase, sell and rebuy when price goes down. But first investment advice is - dont listen to anyone, if you want to invest - do it. Hesitating - investment is not for you. Easy.

There have been numerous allegations that Elon Musk sold bitcoin to prove liquidity, and this led to the sale of 10% of Tesla's assets.

The news shows that Elon Musk and Tesla have chosen a large amount of bitcoin as their capital, and by accepting bitcoin for their own transactions, they are launching a bitcoin revolution.

Well that is how it works first we have McAfee to pump crypto back in his days now we have Elon Musk to control the crowd.
It is how it works for so long people or investors are listening to some influential person to follow whatever they say.
That is how pump and dump group has been operating and how other are gaining profit.

It seems that Elon musk holding some BTC for his personal asserts too and his company Tesla also invested in BTC.
These two things are different. If Bill Gates buy BTC, we won't say Microsoft has bought BTC. It is his personal investment not investment by his company.
But yes Elon musk did use his position and popularity to manipulate the market price. Dige coin is classic example how people are influenced by celebrities in their buying decisions.

Works until it doesn't

MUSK is full of shit, last week he said "My cars that crash were NOT on auto-pilot", this week he say's He sold $100M, but he made $272M profit, so he obviously sold much more than his lies.

MUSK now knows the MSM  has his back, no matter the lie, it will be supported by MSM (CIA)

Bill Gates retired from MS a decade ago, MUSK is an active CEO

TSLA was dying, MUSK took out a $1.5B COVID ( cheap money loan ) and bought BTC cheap ($42k) prior to the ATH at $64k, at ATH he sold and covered the costs on his loan, and tossed the $272M profit on his balance sheet to keep TSLA looking good to the analysts.

GM did this for years GMAC was making 15% ROI on credit-cards with their capital, GM was making 4% ROI on the auto manufacturing biz.

MUSK is now in the same realm, he's not in the EV biz ( except for free 100's of billions of tax scams ), he's in the financialization biz, borrowing cheap money, and gambling.

Same as Delorean 30+ years ago, spent $100's of millions on COCAINE to keep his company 'profitable'

...

Musk came out of PAYPAL, Musk is 'money laundering operation' for god knows who, rocket-ships & auto's an flame-throwers, its the stuff  that keeps children up at night.

Yea, Tesla sold them, not Elon. By selling those bictoins he increases his company capital.
It's a smart move made by a smart man. Of course, his personal investments are something else, he is keeping his personal coins and watch them grow.  Roll Eyes

Gonna echo this out because a lot of people purely just does not know how to take their own risk and do what you mentioned, DYOR.
The laziness and their dependency to other people will really cost them a lot in the longer term, I reckon.

Yes and only because Tesla sold certificates and Bitcoin, the company now had the most successful quarter ever since its inception I believe. It is funny to see how he plays around with the whole world.

He didn't sell a whole lot of cars, yet the market celebrates him for somehow making the company profitable - even without selling a lot of cars Cheesy
