One of the main reasons parents shouldn't use cryptocurrency is because they live in a different era than we do. They have gone through adolescence and had creative ideas of their time. The birth of cryptocurrency is a period that we must run and we must educate the next generation. In this way, the erosion of the traditional financial system will occur in the next few years.

Planting now for the next few years' harvest could be the last resort if we really fail to provide a sensible education for parents.

Crypto is something new to everyone, even long-term investors who feel risky investing in them.
Perhaps they are only interested in cryptocurrencies with high popularity such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple ...
Crypto's value depends on many factors such as technology, community, and government adoption.
Stocks look clearer when regulated by the government. Annually, investors will be provided with dividends to holding investors.
Convincing your parents to invest in altcoins takes time to explain to them because altcoins are diverse and plentiful. Investing in crypto is voluntary with knowledge.

It’s hard to persuade those middle-aged people to invest in crypto. Do you think so?

It is easy for them to enter a stock bubble, but yes as you say it is not easy to enter a crypto bubble. There is one big reason, they find it hard to invest in crypto.
Most of them don't understand what is crypto and think of it as something that is very speculative. Entering stocks is simpler with all the investment and trading offices around, and a central stock market on each country.
It is not easy for most to even understand the internet and the concept of decentralization.
They get confused and most that did invest have had a terrible experience as they did so right at the top of a bubble, while sold later at a big loss.
The market is also very difficult because of all the fomo and the fud. There are major publications and discussions from influental people that force investors to sell at the bottom and buy at the top.
However, I would wonder how would you behave if you were losing hundreds of thousands of dollars from your investment.

Just like me to be able to convince parents to teach how to invest in Cryptocurrency. they refused saying it was a scam. I have given the explanation in a simpler way, but they still don't understand. Nowadays, when the media has reported a lot, finally they are starting to be interested in learning what cryptocurrency is. and how to invest. for new people moreover they are less visionary will inevitably think negatively

I talked again to my mother, and from the looks of it she is not impressed by cryptocurrency. She is old now and ready to retire in 2 years. I want to help her by making an investment that will help her multiply her money 10 fold. Hopefully I can make another appeal to her and this time she would be able to listen and give me some money to grow in cryptocurrency. I think it is not too late but all I need to do is a little convincing.

Parents do not fully understand how cryptocurrency works, they prefer real investments such as investing in tangible and visible property.  Property is the most preferred investment for parents because according to them investing in property such as buying a plot of land will be safer without risk and can be passed on to posterity later.  although crypto can also be passed on to our children and grandchildren, the risk of loss is greater than real investing in property.  From this we can see that the way of thinking of parents and young people is clearly very different, so it is not surprising that it is very difficult to persuade them
Parents and elders have had a long time trying to survive and succeed in this society, hence their selection is often based on a perspective of years of experience, I would say they are living witnesses of successful investments, typically gold and real estate, the value after decades of these investments is enough to turn a person into a millionaire, it's hard to convince them to give up such safety and value to pursue such a risk as altcoins and crypto. They have no experience in this but our youth will be knowledgeable, so we should be proactive here, instead of encouraging them.

Everyone's investment profile is different. I personally have never invited people to dive into crypto, let them find me. I would be happy to teach them about crypto, especially if it's someone close to like family and close friends.

Crypto is not popular in my homeland. People in my homeland love to invest stocks and bonds. And real estate is the most popular investment. Only few people invest in crypto. My dad loves to invest in stocks but he seldom has a positive net income from the stock market. It’s the fact that crypto is a better tool to earn money, especially for the Altcoin. Then., I try to persuade my dad to invest in Eth and BNB. They’re worth to invest. Take myself as a good example, I spent the weekly pocket money on my first Eth two years ago and earn more than 10X of money. It seems that Eth is still going up in the future. It’s a good investment during this economic recession period. I tried my very best to persuade my dad to buy Altcoin like Eth and BNB but he thought that crypto was very risky and unreliable at all. Investing in crypto is the best way to earn money in this economic recession. It means that my family loses the chance to become rich since my dad does not invest in crypto.

I think they need time and more persuasion from you. Maybe you should try another approach to them. Like you start investing your own money like 20 dollar for starter. Show them your binance account how it increase and how strong are your recommended coins like BNB amd ETH.

Where do you live?
If where I live, in this pandemic season many of the people are starting to be interested in investing in cryptocurrency, they are already aware that cryptocurrency can make people successful in the future.
This is good news for me because automatically cryptocurrency development will develop very well in my country, if investors and traders wisely manage it.
But for now most of the young people who are interested in investing in cryptocurrency for the elderly are still afraid of failure and still think of many risks that make them afraid to start investing.
And I don't think they should think about it because with us learning and understanding the cryptocurrency world the fear is going to disappear from us.

When I said to my parents to invest in Bitcoin, at that time the price was under $1k, they didn't listen to me! Our next talk was when the price was around 5k (a years later, right after that dump in 2018), they didn't listen to me! So I know how hard is to talk with parents, but it was almost the same (if not worse) with my friends! I talked with them a lot more, and they didn't do anything about crypto!

Well, now it's my time to rub them on their nose every time they start talking about "how to make money & where to invest"... I was a joke back then, they were laughing when I start talking about crypto, but now I get the chance to tell them what a life opportunity they missed! And I add that it's still not too late to get into the game!

That was exactly what happened to me at that time, I was being laughed at by my mother. We talked about crypto and she just does not want to listen to me and says that it is not her thing. But she only has 2 years left before her retirement. I want to convince her that instead of buying gold I will try to convince her to invest her money on crypto and be able to make it upwards so that once she retires she will able to get the most out of that investment.

Well, it's kinda the same with my parents they more like in to the real state stuff telling me to buy land because it's a good investment, but I guess it is a good investment plus you could invest it as an apartment to earn a good passive income. It's also their money so they could do whatever they want in it, and it's not the money that we are risking, meaning investing in real estate is less risky for sure than investing in this cryptocurrency that's for sure.

I guess it is in their era when it comes to online things or technology they tell me that is just a scam that everything online is a scam, that I need to take out my money because it could be a scam and I need to be careful. Because in my country the news was just crazy to scams. I mean you could be a millionaire investing in bitcoin and Ethereum but it's the same as long as you invest it, we can't really convince them unless they experience how it works. Technically what they believed in because if you cash in your money and then it doesn't register on your account or something that is terrifying for them already.

So your best option was to invest your own money I mean in my position that is what I did, starting from 300$ of investment and I started to save all of my money just to earn that 300$.

i think the most currently who are interested in crypto are the younger generation. the fact is it's true that not everyone is interested in the world of crypto and they prefer to invest in something else. It would be better if we provide an understanding of the crypto world little by little then over time they may have an interest in the world of crypto.

Even in younger generation, crypto is still not that much popular. Only few of us knows that crypto is existing and can be a good and profitable investment in this time of economic recession. For me, if we can start mass education for crypto in the days to come, then it would be not be hard anymore to convince the people around us to invest in it most especially with bitcoin. Yes, the risk is definitely high but the profits is really worth investing.

its almost too good to be true to tell people about what they could invest in and make more money without telling them how and why they could lose it. i think thats the shortcoming in your presentation. to earn is to lose, and to lose is to earn. try again and let him see why he could make profit and how to lose money also. he will then tell you to try with small money since he now knows how it could be lost.

I believe everywhere in the world like this. We are young and we are not afraid to take risks on the contrary generally middle-aged people do not like to take risks. We all know the crypto market is highly volatile so that's the reason you unable to persuade him even my dad's opinion is the same as your dad he also says I won't take risks I play safe So we can not force anyone unless someone has trust in cryptos.

The problem is that older people are used to the fact that any purchase has a physical form that you can touch with your hands. Cryptocurrency is something virtual for them, which can not have a material value. It is for this reason that they use physical gold to preserve their savings.

It’s hard to persuade those middle-aged people to invest in crypto. Do you think so?

It's not like you want to be able to invest. There are many people who can not get used to this. Maybe your parents' time is over, now the growing market makes them unfamiliar and unable to adapt to them
They are so used to cash transactions, so changing a habit is difficult. It is important that they get acquainted with the market and new knowledge.

yes, I agree that it is difficult to persuade parents, or older people to invest in crypto, especially if there is no knowledge of crypto or investing in the internet that they know. To be honest, when I first entered into the crypto world, I also convinced them about this, but most of them thought that things like that could be a scam, and the risk was very big.

Convincing older folks to invest in crypto most especially when they have not discovered it themselves is difficult and frustrating, I myself as an example, I am the only one who invests in crypto in my whole family, none of my brothers know about crypto, I've tried several times to explain to them how they could actually make a good living out of crypto but they think am trying to take their money from them, cus am the youngest, my eldest brother don't even have a smart phone neither does he own a laptop, he doesnt even know that the internet is, trying to convince folks like this is always fruitless cus they never gonna believe you, most especially when you've not made it big yourself.
But looking deeper into this, I don't really blame them cus a study I read said that the older we get, so does the level of risk we are willing to take refuses, so putting this study into consideration, one should understand that the older folks don't like taking much risk most especially on something they don't understand.

It is necessary that investments will be successful and peole would not lose money on investment. Now for every coin liquidity is necessary. It is good that there are platforms like https://www.koinal.io/ that allow to exchange cryptocurrency to fiat directly from a bank card and increase the liquidity of the coin.
Why do you feel happy to post the same thing on every topic and even often suggest less popular sites to many people,
wouldn't that kind of thing be very risky for others?
I don't know what motivation from him by posting like you said it,
however, if we visit a site that is less popular or less reliable, of course the risk is very high,
plus security is also not guaranteed so we better avoid visiting sites like that
