It is no surprise there if our parents become difficult to invest in cryptocurrencies and you see them sticking to what they know for years before now. Especially our elderly parent are not likely to change their view on what they already know and are less likely to pick up on new way of things even most especially when it comes to money and Investment. This means we will have to do a lot of work convincing them why it is safe and they should invest and even at that, most will tell you they are comfortable where they are and what they are use to.

Well, you should atleast know that crypto is not the only way you can get rich in life. Respect your parent's decisions towards crypto but make sure first that you thoroughly discuss to them how things work for altcoins or bitcoin. Indeed, crypto is one of the easiest way you can become rich but it can also impose risk as it is also the fastest way to become broke or penniless. Be smart with the coins you are investing with, do not just simply go with the trend instead look it up yourself so that you wouldn't regret it in the end. Yes, that is the only possibility but I guess it will take a lot of time for making them getting aware of all the aspects of crypto currency. Even it is difficult I guess we must need to do that because that is the one way we can make them convinced so that we can invest into right opportunity before we are going to miss them out. That was the exact thing happened to me. After bitcoin reaching $1.2k levels in 2013, my parents started showing interest in investing with bitcoins. Higher prices are always an attraction for everyone which helped me to convince my parents to get into crypto currency even that was late then times but now I feel lucky.

Generally it is not easy to persuade anyone to invest in cryptocurrency. People are skeptical and always suspicious of what they dont fully understand. So the first step to bringing people unto the cryptocurrency space is education.
You should focus on educating people about the blockchain, the technology behind cryptocurrencies, the advantages and benefits, and why decentralization is the future if the global economy.

I would not try to convince my parents to change their views and change their investment strategy. In my opinion, it would be better to arrange a friendly competition. Everyone invests the same amount. Parents are in traditional assets, and you are in crypto. At the end of each year, you can summarize which choice will be the best.
