Alright, I think I made up my mind. Not gonna install cryptotab browser to avoid malfunction of my phone and laptop. I might gonna give a try for Brave browser. Thanks a lot. Such a great help.

Good decision! and that's what you have to do, listen to the voice of the community for those who have told you to avoid this kind of browser. Brave browser is way better than cryptotab.

Just make sure that you will enable the brave rewards and sign up your uphold account.

Be careful about using this browser like the above said it is mainly for mining not actually Bitcoin they are mainly mining altcoin but they are just paying you in BTC.

I tried to access their site just now and here the result:


They are blocked in chrome that is why they make a clone of Brave browser but the difference is they taking your CPU usage to mine altcoin it's not profitable it can only reduce the lifespan of your PC or laptop.

If you want to earn while browsing the only recommended browser to earn is Brave browser you can earn from them by watching ads unlike cryptotab that they use your CPU usage that can kill your PC or laptop.

Two of my anti virus are blocking this application and there are a lot of bad reviews about Cryptotab, because they have a miner snippet that's running in the background, you can use it at your own risk at a spare computer, but never on a computer, where you access your private keys, passwords  and important files that pertains to all your Cryptocurrency portfolio, and besides you earning is not that huge to consider running something that steal your computer usage.

Is it really useful to use this app as your main browser or what can you guys suggest?

In a simple sentence, it's a good browser but leaves too many things out, and it isn't worth using it for the little bits of crypto-currency they give you for letting them use your browser to mine.

Using a browser like Firefox/Chrome is so easy with their extensions and it gets really hard for regular people to swap browsers, especially when you starting using sync features and then getting all your tabs to sync across different browsers is so easy.

Not exactly sure how much money it'll net you, but definitely not a lot if your using an old/cheap laptop, and it won't be worth killing your expensive computer for it either.

Yes and the earnins is just few satoshi is not worth it installing you will experience laggy if you plan to earn higher.
Possible your laptop or mobile will get a problem when you are continue running it .

No doubt the best browser for privacy and security is Firefox, with some addons installed (Like Ublock origin and HTTPS everywhere)

You cant blame people not to use up Chrome but i agree with your point here this is why i dont exchange Firefox with Chrome
and now im considering Brave browser to make it as an optional browser if i do multi tasking.
For Cryptotab browser i dont know for this browser exist.For op just stick out on whats being mainly suggested.Chrome looks like the
typical choice on here.

I have some browser in my phone or in my PC but I just often to use chrome and brave browser. And I just suggesting, if you are a crypto user then you should choose brave browser as your main place. Because the platfrom is using cryptocurrency to give a reward form its user and have high security as well.

i guess its not a site but its a browser ( you know the one that we use when we surf the web , ex. google chrome )  and its related to crypto i guess due to its obvious name  but your right though that we must not rush things up and better if we wait for someone ( some expert ) to test this software so that he can identified if its safe or not  . you also mention brave browser .  i hear many good feedbacks with it and its not new anymore but for now i do prioritize chrome

It depends on mate - a lot of people use chrome due to how simple things are with it, and there's also the google ecosystem which just works amazingly with Chrome - and there's also the factor a lot of people don't know that Google actually keeps your user data, and it isn't an issue to those people.

If you want to go full privacy out, just go for a firefox browser with the duckduckgo search engine, install a VPN like private internet access or tunnelbear and you'll be fine. Some people just can't be fucked though.

No... It's not a site about cryptocurrency, it used to be a browser extension that let the browser hog up CPU useage and mine BTC, but now after they got blocked, they made their own browser. Please look at the item you are talking about before posting.

It's a mining browser that takes away some of your computer resources, if you have a high-end computer and you  can secure all your wallet and passwords then you are free to use it, I have not tried to use it, because first time I downloaded it it shows at least 4 warnings in my two anti-viruses, they will tell you that it's a false positive, but will you risk your computer on something that's running in your background when you cannot really earn huge here, you need a lot of referrals to earn decent here.

The disadvantages outweigh the advantages of using it, so it's really not worth it.

I'm happy with Chrome being my default web browser. Even if I want to pick a second browser, it'll definitely be brave browser. I know cryptotab features a server dependent mining and that users can actually "earn" some BTC. I just think it's a waste of time. According to reviews I saw on playstore, on average, it would take around 2-3 weeks to make 1k sats. Not to mention the load it puts on the device CPU and other factors. If anyone wants to enjoy the full capabilities of cryptotab, I would suggest they try out the desktop version instead. For me, If I'm going for a browser that offers incentives to users, It'll be Brave Browser. No offense.

I suggest that you protect yourself and do not get involved in browser-based mining which steals your computer power do check your computer resource and you'll see that it always hit 100% and make your computer lag I have a friend using that and it's not worth,
much preferable to post in Cryptotalk, your one post can earn you 1000 sats, while you will have to wait for several days to earn that if you run Cryptotab Browser.
When it comes to using a browser always settle with a secured one like Brave and Mozilla and always use a good cleaner to clean your cookies.

I didn't think you should take this risk if using lesser known browsers or apps particularly when you are a crypto user too.
We keep hearing of malware, virus, hackings etc. If you want to save yourself from all these mishaps, please don't use any unknown app.
Chrome, firefox and opera are good browsers.
