L3+ Firmwear update problems.

My L3+ miners are 3 years old and mining Lightcoin with 2017 dated firm wear. I recently up loaded and flashed the L3+ 2019 frim wear to 7 out of 11 miners. The seven were working better for a week. Then after flashing # 8 miner I hit the "Reset Button" now the miner does not mine and locks up when I try to send configure files. I had saved a back up of the 2017 software but the back up  file is only 9K and does not work when flashed while the 2019 firm wear is 11 MEG.
Is this condition called "Bricked"?
Please help.
