Would having a Debate like: Bitcoin vs Gold win more crypto investors

No, hasn't there been a lot of debates about Bitcoin vs Gold already in the past few years? I'm pretty sure you could already look up a lot of arguments when comparing the two from multiple perspectives. A debate would indeed put crypto and gold into the news for a bit, but that's it. I'm pretty sure those who know of Bitcoin already know of its pros and cons after all.

Plus, investors look at the money or profit side and just seeing what you could've gained from Bitcoin in the past decade, that speaks volumes for itself. It's still quite dependent though since we haven't seen what Bitcoin could do when its supply is maxed out, and we can only wait and see until then.

If we are talking in general then it will still be a publicity, and it doesn't matter if it is a good or bad publicity because the end result is that it will make people curious. And with more people on the Internet rather than the television, I think that we will get more publicity online compared to televised debates.

The difference is that especially when talking about big channels like CNBC, people will watch it regardless what the topic is about. As for something just uploaded on the web without a huge public backing, the chances of people finding it(without actually searching for it) would be kinda low.

I don't think that it may affect too much some investors, for sure a lot of people who watched that debate has already held one of the assets and it won't change their mind by a debate, they have their mind, they have the capability yo think and for sure they already made research before they choose to invest between gold and bitcoin. Some invest in both assets which us a good decision both are good for a long-term investment.

And if that is happen in TV then it is the best because television is wide spread media. There have been debates like the on between Peter Schiff and Erik Vorhees and I like those debates a lot. What's important is that the debaters are strong or otherwise it's just boring. Vorhees did so well he really nailed it and you had the feeling all the time that Peter Schiff couldn't really counter his arguments. Schiff had to stick to his guns as he is fully invested in gold.

Honestly, I don't believe such as debate would bring more investors in crypto. But yes, I have to admit more people would be introduced to Bitcoin through such as debate. I said it can't help to bring more investment in Bitcoin because those people aren't well familiar with Bitcoin they will not invest in Bitcoin. Because everyone knows about Gold, but they don't know about Bitcoin. Those are just familiar with Gold it's very hard to explain to them about Bitcoin as well.

However, I don't like to make comparisons between Gold and Bitcoin. Both are different assets, one is real-life assets that exist physically, another is a virtual cryptocurrency backed by the community. A currency shouldn't compare with real assets.

There are a lot of people that aren't as closely attached to digitization and digitized assets. It's a lot more attractive to new investors knowing bitcoin was now announce or mention in news be it in social media or any new article.
But to be honest, bitcoin now are doing great by introducing itself to the market, to the people by just simply proving that it has a value that worth it to be invested.
Personally speaking, if i would going to choose between bitcoin and gold i'll go for having a bitcoin. Both are worth it and valuable too but having bitcoin was more interesting.

I believe it can bring more investors into the crypto world.  Why?  With this debate, there is a chance for the one speaking for Bitcoin to explain and enable the audience to learn more about cryptocurrency.  Sometimes we need for someone who truly understand Bitcoin to encourage or convince us to hop into it.

As time goes by, people will know and understand about bitcoin as we see its current development and they initially do not know in detail about bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies and there are more people and new investors as time goes by.
Gold and bitcoin can both have a value that only differentiates real and virtual, and bitcoin is much more profitable than gold for now as its price continues to increase and a lot of people are getting rich because of it.
and that debate will help make bitcoin more widely known to all investors and newcomers as there is already a lot of evidence that bitcoin is more profitable.

It will still spread like an infection because even if there is small amount of people watching that obscure channel, there is a high chance that some of them are going to tell it to their friends and those friends will tell it to other people, it may not make them curious but it is enough that they know about it and the time will arrive when they encounter something crypto related and will spark their interest.

Depends whether it has a large audience but it still will do the job even if there are less audience. The only problem that I see with this is that the debate is probably going to antagonize bitcoin rather than having a proper debate about which one is better than the other.

Instead of making or having a debate, why don't just study both bitcoin and gold so that you know that you can invest on these two.

Doing a debate with this is not a big deal in bitcoin adoption especially that they're about store of value.

I think it is because the debates will drive the public's attention to Bitcoin more. That could also help the Bitcoin market get more investors.

It will be a awesome battle, if you can get a person like Andreas Antonopoulos to represent the Bitcoin side of this debate. I will even pay to see such a discussion, because Andreas Antonopoulos presented "Bitcoin" to the Canadian senate and it was "Epic" to have seen that. 

Some of these "Goldbugs" are very fanatic, so it will make for some interesting confrontations, if we can get some of them onto a platform like this. I hope OP is asking, because he wants to arrange for something like this?

Yeah right, recommended videos are all over the social media sites, the moment you search or you accidentally watch any videos it will
reflect to your account and there videos which related to what you previously watch to comes up.
For now, that debate is already known and it depends to whoever who'll going to watch to dictate their opinions.

If this are explainer videos I am ok with it because they really give great instructions, but if it is just videos for the sake of making videos, then what is the point for the community or even newcomers to watch that stuff?
