Hello friends
I am using msi rx 6800xt graphics card for Ethereum mine
But the card does not give more than 58.5 Hashrate.
Would you please guide me for more Hashrate?

Lower vcore to 0.62V for less Watt. Check core at 1200 Mhz.
Raise ram for more hash. Typically 63 to 64 MH/s is possible.
Dont forget to deactivate fanstop because this will heat up your ram and crash the gpu.

I have one of this card and it's hashing at 64MH when mining Ethereum, right now mimble wimble coin is the more profitable on the the card (CuckAtoo31 algorithm), make sure that compute mode is activated in driver settings

For those that are new and only mining Eth, why is mimble wimble more profitable on this card? is that for all 6000 series or only on certain ones?
Thanks.

Minerstat calculator says so but I don't think you should take that serious because in the next few hours ETH will take over, switching to Mimble Wimble is a waste of time, it's not a balance profitable coin to mine everyday

Isn't it necessary to bios mode the graphics card for better performance?

Why not? You could flash bios for any GPU if available, all you have to do is go on Google search and find the right tutor about this, also watch few YouTube video to avoid bricking your GPU, learn how to backup your old BIOS, that's the most important part

Unfortunately, there is not much information about the bios mode of this graphic model in Google and YouTube And I'm afraid to do bios mode because I do not have the experience

The RX6800XT is less powerful than RX5700XT but you can go on YouTube to search for how to Mod the RX6800 bios but most calculators I know shows that RX6800XT can do 61MH, maybe you should try few OC too?

I got Sapphire Nitro 6800xt SE, Getting 64.3-64.7mhs, no bios mod but runs 172w.
Core 1500, Mem 2150, custom fan curve. Temps range from 48-52c, junction 58-60c.

I want to do the bios mod but I do game a few hours most days not sure if I can do that with lower voltage?
The other thing is if my card isnt running 170w+ then my hash goes to crap ie 29mh/s at 160w.
Basically atm I have to keep core around 1500 or it goes lower voltage and kills my hash.

Are you sure that's the exact power draw of a rx6800xt or you are telling us what your mining software is displaying? Get yourself a wattmeter and see the actual wattage that rx6800xt is pulling from wall because I can bet with you that it's more than 172watt

That 172w is what Phoenixminer was saying, I know thats not the same as at the wall. Just tried bios mod finally got it to 625mv (didnt bother going lower).
So now it is 64.6mh/s and 137w in miner. I also tried changing ram speed but it wouldnt even do 2mhz more without crashing.
Pretty happy with the about 20% less power usage thou. Runs 5c cooler, should of done this much sooner.

What do you expect? 70MH per second?Huh The highest that rx6800 can do is around 60mh to 64MH so you aren't that far behind, try finding different core and memory settings and start using MSI afterburner to make some adjustments and see which one works for you
