Hello everyone

I would like to know if there is a way to smoothly mine cryptocurrencies  in a country that suffers from power Outages on daily basis.

I do have an electricity generator to keep the mining devices running but there is a 5 seconds Gap for the generator to start.

Does anyone know a way where the computer can automatically log in again to the mining pool whenever it restarts due the electricity cuts?

Thanks.

If you want uninterrupted mining, maybe buying one or more UPS would be an option to think about.

If you want a computer re-connect/restart something, Windows has plenty of ways to run a program as soon as the system has started, for example startup, registry or scheduled tasks.
I am sure that Linux has similar things, but I am not familiar with that.

From what I know, ASICs run independently, so I don't think that you need a computer. Or maybe you do GPU mining and receive BTC?
However, keep in mind that the router also needs time to restart and connect to ISP, hence once again I advise UPS.

We all know mining is a bit costly but worth it. So, if you have a problem with electricity it will be a waste of money and time will just be in it waste when you are mining bitcoin.

The best option for this if you have money, of course, the extra money the better option I see is that you must buy a solar panel and connect it to your home. I don't have any detail on how it would work but it is possible to ask an expert that can help you or in the way google it more to make research.

My previous School uses a solar panel to power half the school to have less expense possibly you can have that too, when there is power interruption you could have no problem at all.

Running miners on UPS is a recipe for a loss, the average miner nowadays consumes 2.5-3kw, so he will need at least something that can deliver 4kw, which will be very, very expensive.

OP, you don't need to do anything the miners will reconnect automatically, although, I am not sure about running mining gears on a generator, what gears and how many are you going to be running? and what is the rated power of your electricity generator?

In my opinion, the most optimal, but also expensive, is a combination of UPS with sufficient power that will last until your backup generator is turned on, for your case, the UPS should take the load within 5 seconds, here probably 2-3 kW of power will be enough, unless of course you do not have a mining farm. Uninterruptible power supplies for 2-3 kilowatts are very expensive.
You can use a home backup power system that is used when designing solar-powered homes. It will be cheaper to buy the required number of batteries and configure the controller so that when the main electricity is turned off, the batteries work until the generator turns on.

I think the way to go is using solar miners. One they are cheap and secondly they are environmental friendly. Even with electricity cuts, profits are likely to. E very low

I didn't understand your proposal.
Solar panels produce electricity during the day.
What will you do if the power goes out at night?
The backup batteries will be able to work for a short time before starting the generator, and this will be a cheaper option.

I think mining without a stable power source can decrease the lifespan of your miner.
You must have an alternative power source to continually provide power to your miner. Like the above suggestion, solar would be also a good alternative source, check the on-grid solar panels.

What will you do if the power goes out at night?

Actually, you don't know how solar panel works?
If you have a solar panel it depends on your setup how much you can harvest during a day if you have a setup that can harvest 30,000Kwh a day then you can able to run one s9 miner in 24hrs.

I have seen miners who use solar panels. In Russia this is not popular and in Georgia many miners use solar panels.
They don't install batteries because it's expensive, very expensive. All the electricity that the solar panel generates goes to mining, and the remaining electricity is taken from the home outlet at the tariffs of the energy company.
Installing akamulators will never pay off if you use multiple ASICs.
