How can anyone use Bitcoin for improving their agricultural business!? Simply, you use it as money! What can you do with money is the same you can do with Bitcoins, if you have them... pretty much the same as money, you can use it if you have it!
And how to get your hands on the money or Bitcoins?! You offer your services and you get paid for that! You can accept BTC directly or you can buy it later if you think it's a good investment...

Why made it a problem? just Use for investment thats it.. For now there is a limit in Bitcoin incorporating in businesses like yours in connection to no direct needs of internet.

How many people in your region are using bitcoins or at least got awareness about electronic payments or about cryptocurrency payments. Because, to improve your farming business, you must need cooperation from other crypto people so that you can accept/spend bitcoins. I am just talking with respect to a typical farmer in my country as you have not mentioned where you are from.

I'm sure you could get good chances to improve your business by adopting bitcoin as one of your payment option. Because when you're accepting bitcoin for your farm products, you can attract completely new set of customers for our products.

You could either sell your crops and buy Bitcoin and after that when the price of the Bitcoin increased, you can sell it and convert it to fiat. In other words you will invest to Bitcoins however due to the changes of price of Bitcoin or volatility the risk is very high you can also sell your crops in exchange for Bitcoin.

Farm > Bitcoin.

There will always be a demand for food as it has been since the existence of humans but we don't really know if bitcoin will exist in the next 20 years. Bitcoin is way more risky therefore the potential returns are greater. If you have any throw away money, go try it but I would always keep the farm.

Yeah, except accepting as one of the payment option, I am too unable to think more on this. If we want to incorporate bitcoin into anything, then only immediate viable option is payment solutions. Or, a business may adopt bitcoin as a store-of-value for long term good ROI investment opportunity.

Farmers should have the right information first before accepting bitcoin and I have to agree that not all the problem can be solve by blockchain technology or bitcoin itself. Bitcoin created for different purposes and that’s to give financial access to those who can’t, agriculture is quiet complicated though.

Your title is misleading, I guess it should be Bitcoin's use in Agriculture industry.  You should remove the word "vs" since it sounds like you're pitting a completely two different things - which looks absurd to me.

To answer your question, you should first have enough knowledge about bitcoin and how it works. It won't be an overnight process, but it would be worth it if you'll dive deep into understanding its nature. After gathering enough knowledge and information about btc, you can share it to your farmers and business partners. Educate them about it and slowly, invest on bitcoin. Set up a limit depending on your risk appetite. Maybe after that, you can also consider accepting bitcoin as payment in exchange for your raw goods.

Just like several people already mentioned, the thread's title is misleading. It shouldn't be 'bitcoin vs agriculture'. It looked as though you intent to compare bitcoin and agriculture and see which is better. I wouldn't suggest a title. Several have been suggested already.
Your question on how to use bitcoin and a farmer and how to use it to improve your farming business isn't a difficult thing to answer. Firstly, like the user above me mentioned, you must take time out to really understand bitcoin and how 8t works. Only then will you be able to maximise its potential and apply it in agriculture.
You can accept bitcoin as a means of payment for your farm produces. You can include bitcoin in your company's investment portfolio. Investing in bitcoin and making profits after holding for some months to a few years

You can accept bitcoin as a means of payment for your farm produces. You can include bitcoin in your company's investment portfolio.

This will really end the discussion since its so simple to answer this question where if he want to support bitcoin then he can start with accepting it as an option on his business, I'm sure it will create a good effect since this could bring more hype since bitcoins will have another good usage on agriculture sections.

I have seen several small subsistence farmers in my country that approached their local farmers markets and then asked them to "accept" Bitcoin as a payment option at their stalls. This worked for farmer markets where there were a high concentration of bitcoin users in the area, but it was less effective where Bitcoin use was not that common.

Where do you sell your produce? Most retail outlets does not accept Bitcoin and you have to walk the Mile with them to get them to pay you in Bitcoin for your produce. (We give them 10% discount, if they pay us in Bitcoin for our goods that are manufactured, so it is an incentive for them to do that)

Farmers can use Bitcoin, it's for everyone, but Bitcoin cannot help you improve your plantation farm literally or shall I say Bitcoin cannot magically grow your crops faster and free from damages lol.
However you can actually hold Bitcoin and wait for the price to pump then sell It when you have enough ROI to upgrade your agricultural machineries and other equipment to improve the productivity of your farming business.

That’s also what I see with regards to this topic. Agriculture has its own different set of technologies that is not needed of any internet so therefore, Blockchain technology and Bitcoin wont directly affect them aside from accepting Bitcoin as mode of Payment, there’s nothing more to help them.

But in all seriousness, why in the world would you compare these two? How do other businessmen improve their investments with Bitcoin, can you be more specific? Some businesses are in direct relation with money flows, stocks, etc., and crypto for profit in such cases is applicable.
The only way I see it in your situation, you can make money (not guaranteed) by acquiring and then selling BTC at a higher price. Then, with the money, you can do something to improve your business.

farming is your main business and what is the relation of btc to your farm ? btc is not a rake , shovel or any tools that you can use to improve your farm . what you need is to look for tips about agriculture and not tips on how btc can help you in your farm .

I don't think it would be advisable for farmers fo correlate the use of bitcoin in selling their crops. There is a huge difference between huge business or industry to agriculture. It may seem that the agriculture sector provides most of the needs of people but most of the time, they get paid unfairly as those who exports the fruits and vegetables makes a lot of money as they increase the price for each compared to the price they bought it. Bitcoin promotes modernization but there will be parts of culture it wouldn't be able to cover including agriculture.
