This project was quiet for a long time. It was launched all the way back in 2017 and after the 2018 global crypto price crash it looked like it was lost forever, but 2021 seems to be a key turnaround point! Some very exciting things!
Firstly, the network itself.
Rock solid mainnet, running at a proven 5000 tps, with gas fees averaging at $0.0001 per transaction.
It’s also fully Ethereum EVM compliant, so any Ethereum Devs can easily port their DApps across to take advantage of these fees and speed benefits.
It’s also the only blockchain in the world with an on-chain “Hardware” random number generator (as opposed to “pseudo” RNG which is crucial for things like lotteries and casinos where you must be able to prove the random numbers generated are truly random.
Then we have esportsref.com, a DApp EXCLUSIVE to the HPB network. This is HUGE!
esportsref is the only DApp in the world that will allow e-sports players and casual gamers the opportunity to compete directly for crypto on ANY game, on ANY gaming platform online. Not only this but it’s also the only e-sports DApp in the world where e-sports viewers can also earn crypto by acting as a “referee” via Twitch or Facebook Gaming or YouTube gaming. A complete e-sports ecosystem! This is industry-disrupting!
There is also MyTrade, a HPB DEX that incorporates the “AssetLink” cross chain protocol, so you can trade your favourite ERC20 tokens, and take advantage of the HPB gas fees! Again, an absolute game-changer!
The Telegram community is growing again, and very friendly and engaging (no bots, unlike most!) and media coverage is really starting pickup again.
