BCH wallet address issue

Alright guys I need your help, I am trying to send my BCH (bitcoin cash) to binance and it's saying binance BCH address isn't valid, my BCH wallet address starts from QP and the BCH address on binance starts from 1J , I even try other exchange BCH address too, they all starts with 1***. What am I missing here?

Every BCH address has two formats.    
1. Legacy     2. Cash

Try sending to the Cash format of binance deposit address.

You can enter your address on blockchair to see the other format of your address.

Try to check the BCH address on binance again, if there are several options for the delivery network, because the Binance exchange has many support platforms and networks, for example, such as BSC, BEP20, ERC20 and so on.

Try to check the BCH address on binance again, if there are several options for the delivery network, because the Binance exchange has many support platforms and networks, for example, such as BSC, BEP20, ERC20 and so on.

It's because of the BCH address format as described in above comment. I was about to ask op about what wallet he uses to store BCH and if he had sent BCH in the past. Legacy addresses are the most used in BCH network, i suggest op to use Legacy too so he can withdraw BCH from exchanges without issues.
