Telegram community moderator needed 27 hr/week

Hello! Not active on forum but thought to post this possible job here.

Company is established Defi player in the space. Looking for a community moderator on Telegram to work 20 hours a week.
3 hours daily from 5-8pm UTC Monday to Thursday, Saturday
6 hours daily from 2pm-8pm UTC on Friday, Sunday

Requirements:

1. Decent English writing ability.
2. Average crypto Knowledge
3. Able to provide quick and responsive answers to community questions.
4. Able to work with other moderators.
5. Good online etiquette.

Payment is in crypto, paid monthly, rate starts at $250.

Are you sure you want to sell your efforts for two dollars per hour? I think you are not aware what is telegram moderation and how to monitor it. Unless you are willing to deceive him, op should be very careful dealing with newbies .

I wonder what kind of telegram group is this, maybe it hasn't that much of a traffic that the OP wants to give this kind of pay rate to the community moderator. If it isn't that hectic of a job, if you'd want an experience, and if you're in a country were it's almost the same as the average monthly salary then it's fine I suppose.

The rate is acceptable if they are needing someone from a poorer region. Lot's of decent English speaking users from those areas who will do 27 hours a week for smaller amounts.

Though I prefer to be paid on a weekly basis and make adjustments to monthly payments after 3-5 months of partnership.

How will people believe you? where you are a newbie. And you mention for 27 hour work per week that means 108 hour work per month. Per hour rate 2.3148 usd. Which is a very fucking price in the crypto industry. Even then, if someone is interested in your work, are you ready to use Escrow?

IMO, that's inappropriate to judge a newbie, as I have work with them a few times. also like the ones that has been said, it might not be a busy channel so the pay is still fair.
Even I, do have 1 company that only pays $280 USD for 2 groups in Telegram. The OP's offer is slightly better than that especially considering the shift.
Lastly, not all starting companies had the budget, they mostly rely on token sales and comes later with their budgeting, that includes the payments to mods etc.

Hell, we have signature campaigns here on forum that are paying like 50 cent per post, and noone complains about that.

Indeed, actually I am now working almost 18-20hours a day with the projects I currently handle just to get a good pay (just a proper time management). imagine 8 projects but still gives you only ~2k usd per month,... that's how cruel reality is. I don't know if it's greed or not just be thankful the payment being used by the kind of OP is in crypto (maybe on the top 10 on CMC) if not, then the hell shitty this is LoL

Imagine how big the responsibility you've got just to make the task done everyday with that 8 communities Lol  ,  but the payment is quite low but still reasonable especially this days many people seeking for job just to get money. Currently I'm handling 2 projects and earning 1,000$+ from it but not want to add more since I cannot handle the pressure handling the new project for now.

$250 is enough from someone in the 3rd world country like me and doesn't want to get infected by the virus. you'd rather be working for that fee than having to go out every day risking your life. if both party, employer, and employee agree there is no reason to interfere here.

i'd probably take that job if OP hasn't yet pick one. I'm however bad at handling telegram community.

How in hell can you manage 8 projects in the same time? I guess those groups are not extremely active, as that's the only way to be able to handle that.

Back in 2017-2018 i did some TG admin work, and at the most I handled 2-3 groups at the same time, no more than that, and I remember I was exhausted. Those were very active groups though as it was in the middle of the bull run.

How in hell can you manage 8 projects in the same time? I guess those groups are not extremely active, as that's the only way to be able to handle that.

Back in 2017-2018 i did some TG admin work, and at the most I handled 2-3 groups at the same time, no more than that, and I remember I was exhausted. Those were very active groups though as it was in the middle of the bull run.

All in one place, all has 10min mas in reply. 4 groups with less
Activity, 1 as a support only, 2 busy channels 1 tech mod
That's why I'm still open for business. I can still prepare my ipad for that and add another monitor.
Plus I have a team prepared just in case I get a number of projects.

Exactly,$ 250 is good enough for Indonesian people just to manage telegram. Most of them lower graduation (Junior-Senior High School), they are agree to take a job even only get payment around $100-180/month, for restaurant, shopkeeper etc. We can't compare with US payment rate for this one.
