Today i realize the current market capitalization of the cryptos passes the Apple market capitalization... This is crazy because Apple is the company with the biggest market capitalization, and to see the cryptos market bigger than apple just means that bitcoins and cryptos are a bigger company even if it's decentralized.

I know the current market capitalization can have a hard drop in the future, but right now is impressive to see it over $2T.

For crypto users they will say that crypto is better than Apple, and vice versa for Apple users they will say Apple is better than crypto. so here only the data will prove it. We as crypto users are very happy that the growth of crypto market capitalists is increasing day by day. With this data, crypto positions can be taken into account in world markets. it's just that some Apple lovers disowned us.

Nope, Bitcoin or lets say that whole crypto market isnt really just right for you to compared on a certain company but rather go target out with forex/stocks/indices if we are really serious
about total marketcap.
When do talk about surpassing out company caps then it had been breaking out records which is really impressive and soon we would see further breaking records which it isnt surprising.
In terms of adoption and recognition then this market is really getting some as we passed on year.
This do shows on how amazing this market is and wont be reaching out those numbers if it werent relevant.

There was a time when people just try to think compared crypto with facebook. And now we are compared with apple. In my opinion it is still underrated for crypto. No worries we do not need to wait much more time to cross gold market cap. And that day bitcoin will be second on that market and crypto will be the first capital genarator. for me this is not very impressive, because the crypto market capitalization that reaches $ 2T is not permanent and stable like some other market captions,
yes the nature of cryptocurrencies of course we all know that, high volatility is one of the special things for crypto itself, if this volatility can balance,
then this capitalization is of course a special thing too, look ahead, if Bitcoin is still above $ 40k in the next few years this is good for the market, if not then be careful

But with just a blink of an eye and some manipulations, the crypto market can have a crash. Unlike in Apple, where everything is stable because their products have a real use-case and demand grow. The market capitalization of crypto is the combined market cap of all cryptocurrencies, a thousand of it. Not appropriate to compare it to a standalone company.

The data might be impressive for us crypto-people but I think Apples' and Crypto market capitalization should not be compared.

If it's just a realization and comparison of crypto which represents as a company, it's very impressive. And as we know, Apple and other popular companies won't just get a pump on their market cap because they're not as volatile as crypto.

The volatility thing of crypto makes it better but has always been risky yet truly rewarding.

Comparing a company to projects/protocols isn't even a good comparison in the first place. And knowing that Bitcoin takes a huge chunk of the total marketcap to start with, it would probably make more sense to compare bitcoin to gold than a company.

Would this drop be caused by people cashing out or just turning into another asset in the future? Once they have realized that it's profitable to keep it in crypto, that will stay, I think unless another tragedy hits or something.

I agree with you on this one. You can't compare it, but if we're talking about just "Assets" in general, it could be there could be an overlap of some sort. If you look at it fundamentally, it's different, but if you are looking at numbers and what they mean, I think it's okay. I guess the OP shows that there are many investors in the crypto market in terms of value only, not because it became like that in the first place.

The only reason that Apple has a big capitalization is that they have a criminally expensive product that doesn't perform that well compared to other cheaper products that have better performance, I guess you could say that Apple products is a status symbol to look like you have a lot of money.

I read your comments guys, and as you say, bitcoin should be compared with gold and not with a company, but since cryptos and mac has a market capitalization that's why decide to compare them.

But here my point is that we break the wall, and cryptos right now have a bigger market capitalization than the company with the biggest market cap. This should make us all happy, is a big step for cryptos.

Maybe it will crash soon but if you look at longer run it will be much higher then $2T since there are so much good projects in crypto that will have mass implementation and all of that will lead it much higher in next decade.

^ You know, market capitalization is not the thing you had to see for you to know if an asset or a company is doing well. There were a lot of incidences where companies and cryptocurrencies had big market caps but still lose and did not survive the game. Market capitalization most of the time is being held by the developers and early takers. If no one bought all those tokens/coins. It would be useless as hell. So, the only way to know if a company is winning is to see its entire asset price.

It's difficult to compare entirely the market cap crypto itself V.S. market cap of Apple.
But Bitcoin itself is good, that's why there is no list of the total market cap of crypto, it's by cryptocurrency, like for Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.

But overall, it is a good news for everyone, combined all cryptocurrency market cap vs Apple. But again, some people may not consider it, especially for those people who are not into cryptocurrency or haters of cryptocurruency.

I think this is not a good match up. Apple is one solid company and crypto market consist of different entity on it. Its bias to compared this with a single firm. Whole crupto market consists of majority of coins and tokens and these represent per each project am I right. Yes the overall performance resulted to that but why focus on comparing an old firm that has estabilshed its system versus crypto. One thing I knew, marketcap without tbitcoin is a falling ship.

comparing can be done anytime with or without a surge in the price but comparing crypto to apple is like comparing orange to apple because they are not the same .
one is a company and one is not  but for the people that say crypto is better i guess they dont own apple products but apple provides gadgets that are useful and crypto cant do that but crypto can be a better investment and a currency .
they are both useful in thier own ways
