Hello everyone! Long time no talk. We have been super busy doing pretty much everything we originally set out to do. Although it has not been with no difficulty! When we launched LOOD in 2021 it was immediately obvious that our timing was poor, with gas fees on Ethereum reaching record highs during what would have been an ICO. Which was promptly cancelled, although we proceeded to carry out many early operations like bounties in a kind of defiance, knowing it wasn't about "the market" for us in the long run. We were however dedicated to staying the course for our early adopters.
Well this was as true then as it is today, having already been in a bootstrap sort of mentality when we started. We are very much still here and ready to roll out an entire set of tools with an aim to be the "G suites" for the adult industry. And actually, a large part of what we'd like to do now is focus on the coin itself as many things have changed since then.
We are still actively running ridiculously easy
bounties on MintMe. But we also thought it prudent to avoid being knee-capped again as new projects within the LOOD network move closer to full launch. So we convened and decided to launch a sister token in the form of NOOD on Solana.
This was important to do now as we had already been working to integrate Solana into our tech stack with success. The new token also allows us to skip the logistics and expense around getting listed on more traditional CEX which we couldn't afford and were too small for. Plus it allows LOOD to fully lean into its roots as a governance token while NOOD takes over for casual trading and utility. Expect both to be fully supported on the new platform.
