Doge will touch 1$ or not it will depend on what Elon is going to announce. But I do not think it will reach 1$ even he announce that people can buy tesla with dogecoin. Also when something is running for too long its value or power will slow down with time. No matter how influential Elon musk is doge hype is running for a long time and if doge somehow hits 1$ people's sentiments about doge will go bearish and we may saw a huge dump in a day. Also, I do not think investors are now interested in buying dogecoin after its price reaches its current level.

It seems still speculation by people but the second wave for doge coin already ended and we may see another huge increase again happens with doge coin very soon. Not only Elon Musk helping the doge price to surge. Few other whales and platform also trying to make the price bubble of doge. And most of them have the intention to dump their coin largely while it will reach at a certain level. So all other people and investor will fall in the trap who are investing in doge at higher rate. I have no idea what is going on with Dogecoin as the price keeps on rallying and it looks like the market is dominated by the rally from Doge and ETH but later on BCH and other coins joined the rally and finally Bitcoin. Even now i cannot imagine the price of Dogecoin going to a dollar but considering all these pumps which i never thought would happen i wont be surprised if it moves up further from this valuation.

Doge had been a pump and dump material since 2014. But one of my friend firmly believe that Doge will leave that behind as he reasoned out that there will be lots of establishment to accept Dogecoin.  He also believe that on May 8 is the big day for Doge and I am curious what would be that Big day on May 8, if its the bursting of bubbles that would be a sad day for the Dogecoin late comers (those who bought at peak price).  But we really don't know what would happen so I guess many of us will be waiting for that day.
