they were supposed to be released (along with MRU) in June of 2018 - I dont think that ever happened.

Yes, John is still in a foreign jail, and still no trial.
No matter what your personal opinion of the man is, they shouldn't keep a 76 yrs old man locked up without trial for so long. Although bail is never easy to get for a past bail jumper so i guess its expected:

he was arrested nearly 2 years after the notes were to be released was my point. but yes, he has been in jail nearly 7 months now.

I would not be surprised if they were. I know SmartPayMint made his own crypto McAfee notes and posted them on Twitter which John replied to. (Something like “awesome notes”).  Kinda makes me want them less now  Cheesy
