This post, and advice per se is very timely. I contemplated quitting my employment some months back to delve into crypto and Forex generally, but no enough capital. So I decided to keep the employment untill I generated enough needed capital.

However, it's not a very good idea to quit work because of crypto trading. Having more than one source of income should be the goal.

I have a dull brain  I noticed this after spending so many time trying to figure out how trading works but I always end up losing money, it's like a bog no for me, to say the truth trading is more like a pure gambling so the safest option is spot trading, it's not worth quitting a job for.

Trading cryptocurrency can be done as a side gig. Also it depends on the type of trader you wanna be. For me I do position trading, so o don't have to seat in from a computer or my phone all day reading charts.
So, it doesn't affect my job.

In this case I agree with you. One side of view Trading makes profitable business, and on the others hand it make  beggar. But recently many people are entering this profession through various trading courses.  But I will say here that if you don't have any profession at present but understand good analysis then you can take trading as profession.  On the other hand I would also request you not to leave your present profession for trading.  Trading is risky.  There is a word here no risk no gain.  But here I will say about quitting job for trading, invest as much as you can afford to lose.  If you can afford to leave your job to trade then do trading, on the other hand avoid trading by giving up your only source of income which you cannot afford.

In a nutshell, if you have no backup on your present income and salary, it is highly risky to take trading as your profession. There are lots of competition in the market, who are having only one thing in their mind - that is to make money. If you are not a trader by profession, then it is highly likely that you will lose money. But if you choose this path, then you have to work hard and smartly in order to succeed. An investment of time and money will be required but if you are committed to it, there are many opportunities out there for you. You will have to study the market, learn how it works and what are its patterns. If you are not ready to spend hours reading books on trading, then do not even think of becoming a trader.

Its a great advice from OP. Many new traders come in the market and think that they should invest his full time in crypto trading. But the truth is if you are a good technical analyst you don't need to quit job. So never take risk in this volatile market by quiting your permanent job.

To be sincere Bitcoin or trading is a side personal business and interest, what i want you to understand is that bitcoin have its ways of doing things, because the way am seeing Bitcoin trading it involves risk and something that involve high risk doesn't deserve to quit job for. From my perspective standing job should be your backbone with your trading.

That advice shouldn't be for newbies alone. It includes all those traders who haven't become profitable too no matter how long they've been trading. Trading is an easy way of expanding one's wealth once one has a grip on the set skills. It becomes enjoyable and an easy ride for those who are profitable but herculean to those who aren't profitable yet. Trading should be treated as a serious career like medicine, lawyer and others. The thing with any investment or business is that, no matter the amount of money you have, it is always good to start small and grow over time (don't test water depth with both feets). Because you are entering a new market and you need time to understand the market. Your job will stand as an insurance for you, in case of any loss. So keep your job, continue investing in crypto and growing your portfolio until the money you make from crypto is more than enough to pay for your lifestyle and also save. Then only can you quit your job.

I totally agree. You should not put all your eggs in one basket, you need to diversify the risks. It's better to start small, and later, if things go well, then dive deeper into the business.

Trading crypto should be a side hustle, it doesn't worth quitting you job, quitting your job can only be done if you have another stable source of income to maintain you. Bitcoin has it's risk, quitting your job to focus on Bitcoin as the only source of income should not be considered. For instance, Early this year Bitcoin as given almost all it's users heart attack due to the plummeted value on the market. Imagine if it as a user you have quitted your job, how would you have managed yourself?.

Because no matter how good a trader is, he will make mistakes that will cost him money. Making profit doesn't just depend on your knowledge of technical analysis and reading charts. There are so many other things that can go wrong where you can lose your money or miss a good opportunity to make some.

- The exchange can get hacked.
- It can suspend trading.
- It can freeze your account and request additional KYC.
- A negative event in crypto such as a rug pull or exit scam can influence your positions and liquidate them even if you did everything correctly and it seems you are in for some decent profit.
- Your hardware can fail at the most inconvenient moment when you see an opportunity for a trade.
- Regulatory frameworks can change that suddenly restrict you from using your favorite exchange, so you have to find a new home, set up an account, verify it, deposit the needed coins, etc.

You are correct, but there are risks in any business, including cryptocurrency trading.
Assume you invested all of your money in Bitcoin when the price was around $50k and you're waiting for a price increase to take your profit; now that the price has dropped to around $20k, how can you profit? Always consider the risk involved in any investment before beginning; take the time to learn about what you are about to begin; don't just do your job because you know you are a great trader; no one can predict what will happen tomorrow, so always take chances.

I will never advice anyone to quit it job or business for cryptocurrency or forex or anything as such. Cryptocurrency is nothing that guarantees you success, At least in a job you are assured of getting paid by the end of the month but in cryptocurrency is not so. Crypto can make you so rich and at the same time it could go wrong for so it advice to have something you can hold on to when things go wrong.

Crypto does not guarantee success, but crypto can be a side job that can support the main job. if these two jobs are done then your finances will improve, because you will get a monthly salary from your main job and earn additional money from crypto such as trading and doing other work in crypto. and in crypto you should not be too greedy because it will be the beginning of your destruction. currently I am sticking with my main job and working in crypto at the same time with a suitable time share.

Not just easy because as we all know that in trading no one is perfect in short we make some mistakes that lead to us losing our profit, not all the time but if our unlucky day has come no one can say that we are always successful in trading. No matter how good you are at trading, there will be times of loss and you should know that the market is very unpredictable, we cannot be sure what this market will be like in the future.
Cryptocurrency can be a place where you can make a lot of money but it is a nascent market compared to forex or stocks so the risks are huge, it may be broken or completely banned by the government where you live...
Outside work sometimes it only gives you a meager salary but it is steady and sure. Smart people always find ways to diversify sources of income, and should not depend on just one source because life is always full of surprises, always have a plan B for the future.

What's good now is that crypto isn't just limited to trading. But various job offers are also in here specially to the successful projects that are hiring developers and managers.

That's why it's up to them to decide on how they're going to response to these overwhelming opportunities that one can see in the crypto industry. Because this isn't just a dream only but an actual reality that many still can't believe up to this date.
