Even if there is a one thread for all the important thread to read once a newbie or someone is asking for help about things that a person is interested. For example, I would like to know about forum rules and I created a thread asking about forum rules even if I could just searcg for it but still won't search for it. That's what I always noticed about newbies who just pop up and create a thread right away.
I agree. It makes no sense to create directories, thereby rewriting the forum. Don't reinvent the wheel. The rules are in a fixed and very visible section, who needs to know about them - just go there and study.
OP, why did you decide to just rewrite the forum links? Make statistics of all newbies who tried to do similar topics from month to month. And then answer the question, why and why am I doing this?
Let me guess. Is this all a merits hunt?
