hello my friends
good time

i have a question

Can I Mining Dogecoin via VGA (for example RX580) ?

Do you know RX580 how much Hashrate for Mining Dogecoin ?

recently, I understood GPU Power Hashrate it varies for each cryptocurrency !
for example : if RX580 to Mining X is 100Mh/s, that Hashrate to MIning Y is 50Mh/s !!!

mean each cryptocurrency have proprietary hashrate !

Do you explain this ?
Do you learn me ?

Best Wishes

You need an ASIC miner to mine doge coin today, things have changed alot since past years where we can still mine dogecoin with PC equipment, sorry pal you can mine ETH and use your daily earnings to buy Dogecoin

Yes each algo has it is own speed.H/s Sol/s Mh/s
You can even mine bitcoin but it will not bring you any money. Because hashrate of that coin is waaaay above that gpu can get. Only asics left now for them Sad
Ok you have 1 rx580 and there is asic with equal to 300 rx580 so think what chance you got profit you can make there? nothing.

Since everyone seem to have interest in dogecoin why not just buy some and hold or mine other coins and swap for dogecoin? It's not a must to buy ASIC to mine unless you have green energy available

Mining dogecoin is very profitable right now that's why, old ASICS are now profitable once again lol, crypto space is full of surprises sometimes you know, it's time to fire up those obsolete ASIC miners that went out of business years ago

Dogecoin is merge-mined with LTC using scrypt (algorithm). Note most coins are based on different algo!

(algo name - coins based on this algo)
sha256 - BTC, BCH..
scypt - LTC,DOGE ..
ethash- ETH ..
equihash- ZEC,KMD ..
...

GPU's can mine almost every algo but those popular (scrypt,sha256 ..) are mined MUCH MORE effectively by ASICs and you'll just waste energy.
GPU's have different rate for each algo. rx580 can do 30MH mining ethash, but only 13 Mh/s mining KawPow ... (note power consumption also changes )
Try checking whattomine.com and similar sites to estimate ernings.

Much better is to mine ethash (ETH) and sell mined coins.

Alternatively  you can mine on pool which offers payout in various coins.
Check prohashing.com - they have nice overview (algos/coins/profitability), you can mine ETH and select DOGE as payout.

As of earnings for your rx580 (my guestimate): Minig 0.0009 ETH ($3), selling for doge to get 5-6 DOGE daily.

Even if you wanted to, pretty sure you can't mine with an RX580 because that card was released years after ASICs hit the Scyrpt algos. If you got an old GPU like the R9 280X then you can mine using sgminer. I recall exactly getting 750kh/s with my R9 280X. It was 7 years ago but I still remember first rig I built to mine Dogecoin and it hashed at 750kh/s.

Most GPUs these days use like 100 Watts or less. Do you know how much power it took to mine Litecoin/Dogecoin back in 2014? I had 1 rig with 2 GPUs. And the total power consumption was like 700 Watts. So around 350 Watts per GPU. Ahh those were the days.

Choose the most profitable coin for your video card on the site
https://whattomine.com/
It is better to mine ETC because you will receive a withdrawal faster.
Withdraw your coins to the cryptocurrency exchange, sell and buy Dogecoins.
Mining Dogecoins on a video card is not profitable, because this coin is mined on ASICs.
