Bitcoin Gold +40% !!

Dogecoin -11% today, despite billionaires marketing it.

But Bitcoin Gold? +40% and it has NO fundamentals and NO marketing!
And Bitcoin Diamond? +30%

Why does it perform better than other projects with actual fundamentals and marketing? ( e.g. ZCash or Kyber Network to name a few )
Please explain this because i am confused, thank you

Well, we are in the middle of the bull run so it is not a surprise when a coin increases unusually.

I am holding Pet coins which increases more than 100% in the last week. I can also name several coins that earn drastically in a past few days: SONM, DOGE, Telcoin, ethereum classic, etc. We have so many coins to watch by now

Yeah but if what i said about fundamentals is true, this is insanity.

BTG is practically abandoned by devs and has no marketing.
It seems also that there are people mining it with FPGAs, so it's not even a "BTC fork with decentralized mining" as the team described it.

And still it pumps, which doesn't make sense.
At least DOGE pumps because of marketing.

Whatever coin the whales have tripped to pump then it will pump no matter how good or bad or useless it is.

Aside from those bitcoin forks, there are other altcoins that have also pumped. This is likely really being on the altcoin season which many are pumping.

Don't be surprised, anything with volume, it's possible to pump, Bitcoin Gold is listed in big exchanges, therefore it's not impossible that traders will put money on it to trade, plus we have the hype, so any coin in an exchange with good volume is subject to hype.  Now that this coin has 40% profit, expect that whales would manipulate this so they'll ride and make easy money from this.

Bull run happened with the BTC.D domain plummeting, causing all altcoins to rise sharply, especially old altcoins. Take a look at ETC at $ 140, LTC $ 363, XLM $ 0.63, EOS 12 $, BCH $ 1430 ... so I'm not surprised Bitcoin Gold is up 40%.
If one day Bitcoin falls in price and the BTC.D domain rises, we will see altcoins fall in price or not grow as strong as they are now.

this is the effect of the crypto up season. I think all tokens will be hit, it's just waiting for their turn to get the increase. many coins are non-existent marketing mediums but have experienced such rapid upsurge because of purely a decisive market wave.

BTG was a fork coin and it can't fulfill all of the requirements from coinbase/gemini. Both were fully compliant with SEC regulation
Gemini and coinbase will never list fork coins that can be categorized as security coin like BTG. BTG doesn't have utility usage as well.
I think that's enough to explain why BTC is not available on the coinbase/gemini

The reason why Bitcoin Gold and Diamond are pumping is because they are the old fork coins off Bitcoin back in 2017. First Bitcoin Cash was pumping and they are pretty much following the trend. People are buying similar type of coins hoping for a quick 50% move.

Sure the developement is gone however it doesn't matter. Basically a repeat of 2018 where every single alt coin listed on Poloniex was pumping whether it had active developement of not. I am not liking this price action at all because this brings back memories of 2018. Where people went from BTC to ETH then to alts and then to tether and a 3 year long bear market started.

Bitcoin has pumped a lot compared to 2017 usually now the season of crypto is going on. The price of bitcoin and other altcoins are rising traders have increased the amount of investment for which currencies have turned into gold and prices have to rise the bull run is going on in the market and the price will go up further even if the market continues to rise and fall.

Cannot even remember the last time I changed my Bitcoin keys just to get Cash/Gold. Diamond I totally ignored,,, and 40% increase is just because of momentum from Bitcoin and ETH and defi,,, this will never last.

Stupid coins with zero fundamentals like you say. They pump late, but it means bubble about to burst, how sad:(

Its effect of bullish wave, many similar coin will affected, include coin which have similar name with Bitcoin.
But imo its better to have bullish only on the coin with good fundamental points.

But be very careful in touching these alts as they really have no solid reasons of existence. They are up maybe owed to manipulation of their respective dev team. Because even if you ask yourself the reason why they increase, you can't find a very valid reason why? They are just riding the situation. So this kind of increase for most coins with attached bitcoin in their name, I don't think they can maintain their market.

BTG is one of my choices for long-term investment, because it can be said that BTG rarely experiences a significant decline, even today the price of BTG itself has reached $ 128.58, which increases about 40% in just 1 week.
i hope that BTG can hit $200 soon in the near future.

Most of the top coins right now are increasing. Since Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Diamond are altcoins which are somehow popular because they are forks of Bitcoin, they are also benefiting from the pump. Even if the two are not as popular as the real Bitcoin and the altcoins Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV, they also have their own followers and fans. They are also being promoted on their own levels.

In the long run, fundamentals matter. So these altcoins are only better for short term profit.

in the crypto rising season all coins have the potential to go up. I think before doge goes up, BTC gold first has a good price, and without the promotion of influencers like elon musk BTC gold will still be good in the future. it's just that it is outdone by current doge because BTC gold is not encouraged by influencers

I have said this before about potential. EVERY coin has potential regardless of season but when the crypto rally is here, every actively traded coin gains benefit, I see it more as visibility that contributes to how much they can rise,,, the more people know about it they more it rises. This is just silly market tricks. Some rises are also at tiny volumes so do not get tricked.

Looking at the overall cryptocurrency market do you really think that the price usually moves in regards to logic. There is no logic most of the times as majority of the coins are speculative assets and the investors think about pumping the coin even if there are no logical reasoning. Bitcoin Gold is one coin that had multiple hacks and still people consider to pump these coins give you a clear idea about the market.
