This press conference was a shit show. That's what the Paul brothers are known for. They are certainly making this event bigger than it should have been with all their stupid antics. Floyd isn't going to get charged because Jake isn't going to press charges. He got the publicity he wanted and that should be enough for him.

I agree, I think this is just another show to hype their match and make all tickets sold out. Just the usual matches, there's always the drama but if this is for real, Floyd would really has his place for it.

But this is entertainment and there goes the action and making things interesting with such show.

Hardly doubt that official charges would be put out or anything like that, they themselves should know that this is them hyping it out, no matter the method they used. I agree, Floyd doesn't goes alone, he has tons of body guards and then the goons behind him to do the dirty work.

But I believed that this is just pure entertainment, to pisque the imagination of the fans again. If I may add though, Floyd looks old, I know that he is 44 years old, but damn, he age a lot as compare to let's say Manny Pacquiao.

if they hype this much, there is really a possibility that everyone will watch because we are gullible. it was said his nose was broken. it only looks as if Paul is a big fan of Floyd, he must be planing to auction that hat for money. okay, i will watch the match. if the fight ends up beating Paul down the ground i would really believe they truly are not rigged.

Stupid marketing move. Why would Mayweather go for killing Jake? For what reason? For the hat? Naah, he sat calmly every time when McGregor trash talked about his age calling an old fart even though Conor had equal chances for the victory. Who is Jake Paul? A YouTuber who had 3 real fights? If this fight ultimately happens it ends with Jake's beaten ass.

^ I think, there is a very least percentage that Floyd might have sent goons to Paul’s place. But I don’t think it was meant to hurt or kill Paul. It was meant to scare the ass of Pauls and show power. Floyd has everything and I am sure he has goon with payrolls from him. If you see Floyd, he always wanted to show how powerful he is. Bodyguards are not really that necessary but with the profile Floyd has, I think he is scared to be silenced by someone. I just wonder how many death threats Floyd is receiving every day.

This has been a trend now, they are successful in getting the attention of the fans, but hopefully, it will not result in a boring fight.

When you need to increase the total sales of tickets, things like this must happen .
Remember when McGregor and Mayweather set a fight. It is full of hype, full of people in the stadium and the tickets are sold out. Almost the same with this. They need to hype the fight that is why they need to do things like this.

Well, if you are a fan of either the Paul Brothers or Mayweather then you will follow the people you idolized with and will ride the hype that it has right now. For sure supporters from both side will enjoy this fight and the ones who is enjoying the most right now is the people behind this fight and the 2 fighters. Easy money for both of them.

I doubt the fight will be affected negatively. the "brawl" that happened between jake paul and Mayweather looks like a typical way of hyping a fight or wanting publicity. I've seen too many of it and it is not that enjoyable to watch. I doubt Floyd will get charged with anything since it seems jake paul is the instigator by taking Floyd's hat and I've seen crazier press conferences than this. as for Jake's paul twit, it's clear all he want's is hyping and publicity.

We don’t know the reason for this one and there’s a lot of possibilities why Floyd made that statement especially on hyping the match but seriously, a death threat is always a big no. He should apologies right away and start focusing on the real game, this is just a boxing and I’m sure big money will be in favor to Floyd, so there’s no need for a death threat, that’s too unprofessional.

This is how they work things before the fight, I guess with no people talking about their upcoming fight, it really hurt them so much that they even create such a scenario to lure people to talk about their upcoming fight and this is ridiculous. I don't think this is enough to convince people to spend on their fight because the outcome is so obvious, the fight will be a circus just like what we have seen when Floyd fought that young Japanese fighter.
